Heath Bar Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter   softened to room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup Heath baking bits

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350℉.
  • Cream together the softened butter and sugars with an electric mixer for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the egg and the vanilla and mix again for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and baking soda together in a medium bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Fold in the Heath baking bits.
  • Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough into a ball and place them 2-3 inches apart on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes and let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
