Homemade Applesauce

Easy Slow Cooker Chunky Applesauce

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 4 hours
Servings 8 people

Ingredients

  • 6-7 apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Peel, slice, and core all the apples.
  • Place apple slices into crockpot and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Stir until apple slices are coated well with the cinnamon and sugar.
  • Add in the water and cover.
  • Cook on high heat for 3-4 hours.
  • Once done cooking, either whisk the apples or use a potato masher to reach desired applesauce consistency. I used a potato masher to make it more chunky. If you prefer a smoother applesauce, use an immersion blender or whisk to mix.
  • Let cool slightly and enjoy!
  • To store leftover applesauce, place in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-6 days!
