Slow Cooker Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Granny Smith Apples
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions
 

  • First, you need to peel, slice, and core apples if you have not done so already.
  • Then, in a slow cooker, stir together the apple slices, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and salt.
  • After that, cut the butter into cubes and throw it into the mixture as well.
  • Cook on low for 4 hours, or on high for 2 hours. Serve the warm apples and enjoy!
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
