First, you need to peel, slice, and core apples if you have not done so already.
Then, in a slow cooker, stir together the apple slices, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and salt.
After that, cut the butter into cubes and throw it into the mixture as well.
