First, peel and slice the fresh apples and place them in a large bowl.
Then, pour the lemon juice on top of the apples.
Add the remaining ingredients (brown sugar, flour, ground cinnamon, melted butter, and salt) to the sliced apples.
Stir together to coat apple slices entirely. Transfer apple slices into greased baking dish.
Using the pie crust, roll it out until you get 1/4 inch thickness. Then, using a cookie cuter, or just slices, arrange pie crust on top of apples.
Then, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and use a pastry brush to brush all the pie crust pieces.
Combine the sugar and ground cinnamon to create a cinnamon sugar topping. Sprinkle evenly over the pie crust.
Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cobbler is ready when the pie crust on top becomes a nice golden brown color.
Let cobbler cool to room temperature. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired!
