White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 tsp orange extract
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream together the butter and the sugars in an electric mixer until light and fluffy- about 2 minutes.
  • Add in egg and beat well to mix together.
  • Beat in the orange and the vanilla extracts.
  • In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients at low speed until fully mixed.
  • Using a spatula, mix in the white chocolate chips and cranberries until incorporated.
  • Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place about 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 11-13 minutes in prepared oven.
  • Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet, then transfer to wire rack to let cool completely and enjoy!
