Ingredients Needed For White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp orange extract
- 2 tsp vanilla extract (I use my homemade vanilla extract for this!)
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 3/4 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cranberries
How to Make Cookies
Like I said above, this recipe is super easy and can be whipped together with little to no effort at all! First, you need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper, and as always, I love to use my Caraway Home baking sheets anytime I make cookies!
They make cleaning up a breeze and even without parchment paper, nothing ever sticks to them. If you want to try them out yourself, be sure to use my code “MORNINGS_ON_MACEDONIA10” to get 10% off anything with them!
Now, to make the dough, cream the butter and sugars together for 2-3 minutes on medium high speed with an electric mixer. Once it is light and fluffy, add in the egg and beat well to incorporate it in the mixture.
Then, add in the vanilla and orange extracts. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until dough comes together.
Using a spoon or spatula, mix in the cranberries and white chocolate chips into the dough. Now, use a cookie scoop, or spoon, and shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place them on the prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake cookies in preheated oven for about 11-13 minutes. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet and then transfer to wire rack to let them cool completely before enjoying them!
