A few years ago on Valentine’s Day morning, my mom discovered a mama cat and her three kittens on her front porch. As a lifelong cat lover, there was absolutely no way I wasn’t bringing one of those sweet rescue kittens home once she was old enough. And that’s how Riley became part of our family. ❤️

Fast forward to today, and Riley has grown into the funniest, sassiest, most personality-filled cat I’ve ever had. She’s definitely not a lap cat, and she makes you work for every ounce of attention and affection, but somehow that just makes me love her even more. 😂

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

If you know me, then you know I absolutely love to bake Christmas cookies. It’s one of my most favorite things about the holiday season. So, I decided to try my hand at making these yummy white chocolate cranberry cookies this year and they did not disappoint!

They remind me of my Starbucks copycat recipe of Cranberry Bliss Bars. But, it’s in cookie form! These were so delicious and the perfect balance of sweet with the white chocolate chips and tart from the dried cranberries!

So if you’re looking for a quick and easy Christmas cookie recipe, I’ve got you covered. These did not take long at all to make and they were definitely worth it!

These would be perfect for a Christmas cookie exchange party too. Since it’s not your typical Christmas sugar cookie recipe! Although, I do love me a good Christmas sugar cookie too! Keep on reading for the full recipe card and all the easy instructions to go along with it!

Ingredients Needed For White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp orange extract
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (I use my homemade vanilla extract for this!)
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
Finished White Chocolate Cranberries Cookies
These cookies also pair well with an Antique Candle Co. Spiced Cranberry candle burning in the background too!

How to Make Cookies

Like I said above, this recipe is super easy and can be whipped together with little to no effort at all! First, you need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper, and as always, I love to use my Caraway Home baking sheets anytime I make cookies!

They make cleaning up a breeze and even without parchment paper, nothing ever sticks to them. If you want to try them out yourself, be sure to use my code “MORNINGS_ON_MACEDONIA10” to get 10% off anything with them!

Now, to make the dough, cream the butter and sugars together for 2-3 minutes on medium high speed with an electric mixer. Once it is light and fluffy, add in the egg and beat well to incorporate it in the mixture.

Flour Mixture
White Chocolate Chips and Dried Cranberries

Then, add in the vanilla and orange extracts. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until dough comes together.

Mixing White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Using a spoon or spatula, mix in the cranberries and white chocolate chips into the dough. Now, use a cookie scoop, or spoon, and shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place them on the prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookie Dough

Bake cookies in preheated oven for about 11-13 minutes. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet and then transfer to wire rack to let them cool completely before enjoying them!

Enjoy Your White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

See, how easy was that?! So simple and it requires minimal ingredients! But, it makes for a killer Christmas cookie! I think cranberry and white chocolate is the perfect Christmas combo for any dessert in my opinion!

Let me know if you make these cookies too, what you think about them! I know you will love them just as much as we did!
