was hanging on this very flimsy hook in our back yard.
Before this project...
We decided to hang it on a wooden post so it would be more secure instead so we started digging a hole for it!
We used a 4x4x8 wooden post for this project.
We also used quick setting concrete in the hole for the post to make sure it will stay in place.
We then started staining the post the same color as our back porch to match!
After staining, we added hooks on each side for the bird feeder and for a hanging basket of flowers too!
This DIY Bird Feeder Upgrade turned out to be much better than before!
