We don’t have too much time to add in anything else to the agenda. But I am always looking for more ways to be extra festive this Christmas season. And these ice cubes were the perfect way to do so!
Requiring little ingredients, most of which you may already have, and little time, you can create these beautiful ice cubes too! Keep on reading to see the full recipe! And spoiler alert, I am sure you aren’t going to believe how easy these are to make!

Ingredients Needed For Festive Ice Cubes:
- Fresh Rosemary
- Fresh Cranberries
- Pomegranate Juice
- Ice Cube Trays
Unlike traditional ice cubes, we are stepping up the game here and using pomegranate juice instead of water! This gives them a super fun and festive color! You could also use cranberry juice too if you wanted.
However, if you are in a pinch, you could definitely just use water with rosemary and cranberries instead. Although, I do recommend a juice for a beautiful end color!
Can You Freeze Cranberries In Ice Cubes?
The answer is, of course you can! And it is so easy to do! The first thing you need to do is get a good quality ice cube tray. Then, cut up sprigs of rosemary and add them into the bottom of each cube holder.
After that, add in as many cranberries as you would like! I could fit in about 3-4 a piece, depending on the cranberries size. It doesn’t take too many cranberries to do this. So even if you’re running low, you could still pull it off. You could even just add in one cranberry each if you wanted.
Once you have the cranberries and rosemary inside, now you can pour in the pomegranate juice. Pour the juice in until each cube is almost full. Then, place into the freezer and freeze until frozen solid. How easy is that?!
Enjoy Your Festive Cranberry Rosemary Ice Cubes!
Can you believe how simple and easy that was?! And it’s such a great way to spice up a boring old drink. Add it to some sparkling water for a nice Christmas upgrade! Or whatever beverage you prefer!
I like to use the Polar brand of sparkling water. They have a delicious raspberry lime and a cranberry lime flavor that pairs perfectly with these ice cubes, if I do say so myself!
If I may recommend another great Christmas beverage idea to you- be sure to check out my yummy Cheerwine Mocktail Recipe I shared a few weeks back too!
If you want, you could even add several of them into a big punch bowl too. They would look nice and pretty and wouldn’t water the punch down like regular ice.
This is a perfect, easy recipe for hosting holiday parties or get togethers. I’m sure everyone will appreciate the extra effort you made into even making the ice cubes seasonally appropriate!
I hope you all enjoyed this easy cranberry rosemary ice cube recipe, and if you try it out, let me know below! Have a very merry Christmas my friends!
