I thought it would be fun to share some Halloween gift baskets with you all today. That way, you can create your own with all these Halloween basket ideas.
If you’ve heard of a Halloween boo basket before, then that’s exactly what this is! It’s a great way to spread some Halloween treats this spooky season.
I think it’s a fun Halloween tradition to start doing every year too. And I love good themed gift baskets so this is right up my alley.
I decided to do a themed basket full of Halloween goodies for my cats because I am that extra cat mom for sure! But, you can easily make your own boo basket to send to your best friends, family members, and any other furry friends you might have!
This is just a fun way to say Happy Halloween and create a thoughtful Halloween gift for someone you love. There are endless ways to do it, so I hope this post gives you a little inspiration and ideas on what functional gifts to include in your boo basket this Halloween season!

Pick A Basket
The first thing you need to do is just pick out a cute Halloween basket. I found mine at Target in the trick or treating section. They had plenty of Halloween baskets to choose from!
However, if you are going for more of a home goods gift, you could easily find a beautiful basket to place all your themed items inside too. Then, include some home items like candles, kitchen towels, even a cozy Halloween blanket too!
Create A Theme
I mentioned this above, but once you have a basket picked out, then you can do a theme. Like a self care themed basket would be great for some friends.
You could include bath bombs, face masks, nail polish, etc. for that. Or, if the person has a sweet tooth, you could fill it with candy corn, sweet treats, hot cocoa, cookie cutters, etc.
The possibilities are endless and you can have so much fun creating an adorable Halloween basket for someone you love! You can even make some simple treat bags for your neighbors too.
That’s technically how boo baskets were started. You can leave it on neighbors porches with a cute note saying you’ve been boo’d! And a great addition would be my homemade vanilla extract. Who wouldn’t want to come home to that kind of surprise on their porch?!

Fill The Halloween Basket
Once you have come up with a theme, then you can start to fill that basket up! Like I said, I made one for my cats and filled it with some of their favorite Halloween accessories.
Like Temptations cat treats in a brand new “spooky” cat nip flavor. And Halloween themed toys, like catnip filled mice and a cute little toy wand with bats.

I did add in a fun costume of bat wings for them in there too, but I seriously doubt I can get them to enjoy that as much as all the treats and toys.
But, I just thought it was such a cute and adorable way to spoil my little fur babies with some special Halloween cheer! I also added in some fun Halloween themed tissue paper to make it look more festive as well.
If you wanted to go an even easier route, you could always preorder a fall themed gift basket and have it sent directly to a loved one.
This would be ideal if the person you are sending it to lives too far away! Harry & David always has great gift basket options to choose from, just like the one pictured below:
