I’m partnering with @catspride today to put an empty Cat’s Pride litter jug to good use with the cutest little upcycling project. Since the jug was already the perfect Frankenstein green, I knew exactly what I wanted to make! 💚 After cleaning the empty jug thoroughly, we cut off the top to create a basket shape. WW Blueberry Muffin Recipe

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Y’all know I absolutely love to bake! And I’ve shared a ton of recipes for that in the past. But, with this new year, I am trying to eat better and be more conscious of what I am putting into my body. So instead of baking blueberry muffins loaded with white sugar and butter, I decided to try out a more healthier version. Honestly, I can’t believe how unhealthy average blueberry muffins are for you! I made this WW Blueberry Muffin Recipe the other day and it did not disappoint!

These blueberry muffins taste so yummy and delicious and I can’t believe that they are healthy for you too. I’m all about trying out good weight watchers recipes and seeing how they compare to the real thing. And this one definitely hit my craving for a nice blueberry muffin!

I always love a treat like that with some morning coffee. And the prep time to make these muffins is super minimal. I think it’s a great way to start the day! Now, I’m not in the weight watchers program, but I am trying to create more healthy snack recipes like this whenever I am craving a sweet treat.

So regardless if you’re WW members or not, this recipe is one you’ll definitely want to try and keep around! It may even become a family favorite! So keep on reading to see just how you can make these yummy and easy WW blueberry muffins too!

Ingredients Needed for WW Blueberry Muffin Recipe

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups whole wheat pastry flour (note: I did not have any whole wheat pastry flour on hand, so I just used all purpose flour instead and it worked just fine!)
  • 3/4 cup quick oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
WW Blueberry Muffins

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  •  ⅓ cup light olive oil (you can use melted coconut oil too)
  • ¼ cup non-dairy milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (I used my homemade vanilla extract for this!)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (you can use frozen blueberries too, but you may need to add a couple of extra minutes on the baking time if doing so)

How To Make Healthy Blueberry Muffins

First, preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Then, prepare your muffin pan. You can either use muffin liners or spray some cooking spray into muffin tin as well. Be sure to only use 9 paper liners or cupcake liners though as this specific recipe only makes 9 muffins.

In a medium bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients. Then, in a large mixing bowl bowl, whisk together all the wet ingredients, except the blueberries. Add half of the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients as well as the blueberries.

Dry Ingredients
Wet Ingredients and Dry Ingredients
Healthy Blueberry Muffin Batter

Mix together well and then add in the rest of the dry ingredients, being sure to scrape the sides of the bowl in order to fully mix everything together. Pour muffin batter into prepared muffin cups evenly and place in preheated oven.

Delicious Muffins
I think I definitely need to invest in a new muffin pan! This one has seen better days! I have my eyes set on Caraway Home’s Muffin Pan! Seeing as how I already love all their cookware. Plus, you can use my code MORNINGS_ON_MACEDONIA10 to get 10% off anything from their site!!

Cook for 5 minutes at 425 degrees and then drop the temperature down to 350 degrees. Cook muffins for another 15 minutes at new temperature. Remove muffins from oven and check with toothpick to ensure doneness.

Let muffins cool in muffin pan for 5 minutes and then transfer to wire rack to let them cool down to room temperature.

How To Store Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

Once cool, be sure to store these delicious muffins in an airtight container for up to 5 days. You can also freeze these Weight Watchers blueberry muffins in a freezer bag for up to 3 months too.

But, you may not have to worry about how to store leftovers, because these muffins are just so good! Since it only makes 9 yummy muffins, they may be gone in no time!

Juicy Blueberry Muffins

Enjoy This WW Blueberry Muffin Recipe!

Well, I hope you enjoy these healthy muffins as much as I did! Trust me, if you’re trying to bake healthier recipes, this is a great one to start out with. I know sometimes just because it is a WW recipe, it can be easy to just ignore and look for a better one, but I promise, these are delicious and super easy to make as well!

WW Blueberry Muffin Recipe

You don’t even need to bust out your electric mixer for them and the total time it took me to make everything was less than 15 minutes. You can’t beat that!

So if you’re looking for an easy and quick breakfast idea, be sure to try this one out! I will also try to share more healthier recipes this year as I make them this year.

You need to learn how to say NO in life. 👏🏼 When You need to learn how to say NO in life. 👏🏼

When someone asks, “Do you want one?” You say, “No… I want TWO.” 🤣

And that is especially true when it comes to Reese’s Pumpkins. 🎃🥜🍫

Seriously, WHY do the Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins taste so much better than regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups?! There’s just something about that perfect chocolate-to-peanut-butter ratio that gets me every single Halloween. 😂

They are hands down my favorite Halloween candy, and honestly, I could probably eat my weight in them.

So if you offer me one Reese’s Pumpkin this spooky season, just save us both some time and hand me two. 😉🤣

Now I need to know: what’s the BEST Halloween candy of all time?! 👇🏼
I am absolutely LOVING these fall trees from Nearl I am absolutely LOVING these fall trees from Nearly Natural on @amazon 🙌🏻 Usually, I keep my olive trees in these baskets on each side of our bed until Christmas, when I swap them out for Christmas trees. But now I officially have trees for FALL too… and I’m obsessed. 😂🍁

They add the prettiest deep, rich fall colors to our bedroom and instantly make the whole space feel warmer and cozier. There’s just something about bringing those autumn tones into your bedroom that makes it feel like the ultimate cozy retreat!

I’m definitely adding these to my list of favorite fall bedroom decor finds. 🍂

Are you someone who decorates your bedroom for fall too, or do you keep the seasonal decor to the main areas of your home?!
