I almost didn’t post this. After sharing all of ou I almost didn’t post this. After sharing all of our beach vacation content last week, it probably looked like we had the perfect trip. Smiles, sunsets, seafood, beach days, and we truly did make some amazing memories.
But social media rarely shows everything. What you didn’t see was my heart pounding every time I carried my beach bag down to the sand. Feeling so dizzy and nauseous that I had to run back to the condo just to throw up. Watching my heart rate skyrocket and my Apple Watch constantly sending high heart rate notifications, even while I was just sitting at dinner or relaxing on the couch. Imagine how high it gets when I’m actually doing something. You didn’t see my hands shaking so badly that putting on my makeup became a challenge.
Or the hours spent on the phone with doctors, insurance companies, and specialists trying to get referrals approved, MRIs scheduled, and answers that still haven’t come. After weeks of waiting, I finally got my brain, spine, and lower back MRIs scheduled, but they’re not until August 18. So now comes even more waiting and hoping for answers. 🙃
You didn’t see me checking my suitcase over and over, terrified I’d forget an important medication or something I might need while we were away.
And when we finally made it home? I ended up with what seemed like an allergic reaction, my right eye swelled shut, burned, and watered nonstop, my nose couldn’t decide if it wanted to be stuffed up or run like a faucet, and I topped it all off with a pounding migraine. This is the reality of living with an invisible illness.
You learn how to smile through the symptoms. You push through when you can. You rest when you have to. And you become really good at making things look “normal” even when your body is fighting you every step of the way. So if you’ve ever looked at someone’s vacation photos and thought they must have it all together, this is your reminder that you never know what someone is carrying behind the scenes.
And to my sweet hubby, thank you for giving me grace, slowing down when I need to, carrying the things I can’t, and reminding me that making memories together is what matters most ♥️

The BEST Non Toxic Cookware Guide For Your Kitchen

I’ve recently become addicted to a new brand called Caraway Home for cookware. I always love to be in the kitchen cooking or baking. So I was very excited to try this set out and see what I thought about it.

This certain brand believes in creating non-toxic surfaces and thoughtful designs to lead to more cleaner cooking in the home.

After using a few pieces for the past couple of months, I am here to tell you just why I think Caraway Home is hands down the best non toxic cookware for your kitchen!

They believe in creating the highest quality of kitchenware, without the chemicals that traditional nonstick pans use. Nobody wants toxic fumes escaping into the food they are cooking because of their ceramic cookware brand.

This type of cookware is designed to bring back the joy of cooking again. All while being safe for you and your family! Plus, the thoughtful design to this cookware can’t be beat. Not only is it beautiful, but functional too!

So if you’re searching for some of the best non-toxic cookware brands, I am here to tell you that Caraway can’t be beat! It really is one of my favorite brands when it comes to cookware, and I am here to explain just why that is!

This post also contains affiliate links, which means I make a small commission off anything you purchase through here, at no additional cost to you. Please read my full privacy policy for more details.

What Is The Safest Non-Toxic Cookware To Use?

Did you know that 95% of non-stick pans (including Teflon®) contain Polytetrafluoroethylene?? And that this “forever chemical” can take decades or longer to leave the body?!

The best cookware
It’s even pretty enough to just display it on your stove too!

They also never break down in the environment either. It only takes 2.5 minutes for a traditional non-stick pan on high heat to start releasing this chemical.

Caraway Home Pans

Caraway Home has introduced a new way to cook with their ceramic non-stick cookware. This mineral-based coating is non-toxic and eco-friendly as well.

It releases up to 60% less CO2 compared to other non-stick pans. Also, since these pans are so slick, they require less butter and/or oil to cook with.

Which therefore reduces the amount of scrubbing required to clean them.

Fry Pan and Dutch Oven

They are also very conscious of ethical manufacturing and support BSCI and SMETA partners. They make sure their employees are paid fairly with benefits, safe, and working regulated hours.

Their packaging also contains zero plastic bags and low impact print dyes. The cork trivets that are included with your purchase are also 100% biodegradable.

When you order from Caraway, all orders are shipped in packaging that is made of recycled materials, and completely free of any single use plastics.

Why You Should Use Non Toxic Cookware

Did you know that if you use cookware that is coated with Teflon, you are exposing yourself to chemicals called PFA’s (which are also known as PFO’s and PFOA’s).

Exposure to these toxic chemicals have been linked to many different cancers, infertility struggles, as well as liver damage too. So by using Teflon coated materials, there are some huge health risks involved.

You can even get something called the “Teflon Flu” which is essentially when you get sick from being exposed from fumes of toxic metals like Teflon in your cookware. You would experience flu-like symptoms such as coughing, shivering, chills, etc.

To prevent yourself from ingesting these harmful chemicals, the best option would be to use healthy cookware without a Teflon coating such as Caraway Home. They really do have the safest cookware materials out there on the market today.

So if you have any Teflon cookware in your home, it’s best to go ahead and throw them out. You don’t want to risk your family having toxic exposures to the chemicals present in the pots and pans.

Cookware Options

Now that you know a little more about the company and their mission, I figured I would share with you all everything you can get from them.

You can order a whole cookware set, which includes everything listed below. Or you could order each item individually if you would rather do that instead.

I personally have this set listed below. I love using their frying pans because literally nothing sticks to it! It really makes cooking and cleaning up a breeze!

Farmhouse Kitchen
  • Fry Pan
    • Diameter: 10.5 in
    • Great for pancakes, sautéing veggies, and eggs
  • Sauce Pan
    • Volume: 3 quarts
    • Ideal for mac and cheese, risottos, and sauces
  • Saute Pan
    • Volume: 4.5 quarts
    • Perfect for stir fry and other dishes with stock
  • Dutch Oven
    • Volume: 6.5 quarts
    • Made for stews, pastas, boils, and roasts

If you do end up ordering the full set, it also includes storage. Such as a magnetic pan rack and a canvas lid holder which is so convenient!

Stainless Steel Cookware

If you prefer stainless steel pans, Caraway Home offers that too! This set is super high quality and is the cleanest way to sizzle and sear your food with ease!

This non toxic cookware set is 18/10 grade stainless steel and contains everything you need for healthier cooking at more high temperatures. These stainless steel pots would be a great addition to any kitchen!

Bakeware

If you love to bake like me, then you love Caraway’s bakeware collection. Their bakeware includes a ceramic coating that contains a toxin-free chemical surface. The bakeware is free of  PTFE, PFOA, heavy metals, hard anodization, and PFAS chemicals.

After Baking Heath Cookies

I personally have the large and medium set of their non-toxic baking sheets, and I use them all the time. If you’ve been around here long enough to see all the cookie recipes I share, then you know that’s true!

Food Storage Set

Not only does Caraway offer nonstick cookware sets, but even food storage sets too! These glass food storage sets are microwave, freezer, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher safe!

Cookware Accessories

Another fun thing about this best set of cookware is the fact that they come in many fun colors. As you can see in my photos, I chose to keep it neutral and get the gray color.

But they also come in a fun coral, sage, navy, and cream color too. So you can definitely use them as a fun pop of color in your kitchen too.

And Caraway Home doesn’t just sell cookware either. They also sell:

  • Pot Holders
  • Tea Towels
  • Market Totes
  • Oven Mitts
  • Aprons
  • Tea Kettles
  • Cutting Boards
  • Knife Set

So really you could use this non-toxic cookware guide I am sharing today and outfit your whole kitchen with it! Caraway Home literally has everything you need when it comes to non stick cookware and accessories too!

Enjoy The Best Non Toxic Cookware

If I haven’t convinced you by now that Caraway Home is the best brand name of pots and pans with non-stick coating out there, then I don’t know what else will!

If you’re looking for high-quality cookware without all the adverse health effects, then Caraway Home is your best bet! Plus, with proper care, this cookware set can last you a lifetime of cooking healthy food in your kitchen!

And, they were nice enough to give me a discount code for you all. Just use “MORNINGS_ON_MACEDONIA10” to get 10% off anything on their site! Just continue to refer back to this non toxic cookware guide whenever you need to replace some pots and pans in your kitchen.

I know it can be a little pricey to replace them all at once, so you can always split it up and buy a few here and there as you need.

I’m telling you once you try out the nonstick coating to these pans, you will be hooked! You won’t be able to go back to any other brand of cookware again!

And they will definitely last you a long time as well. Have you ever tried out Caraway Home before? If so, I’d love to know what you think about these amazing cookware sets below!

Hi Charity. As well as being non-toxic, these cookware items look great too. A couple of questions, if I may:
    1. In terms of everyday use, would you say that the items are light, medium, or heavy? (We currently have a monster of a fryingpan that is so heavy it requires the strength of Hercules if you want to toss pancakes!)
    2. Do they ship to the UK and/or have an outlet in the UK?

So I would say they are a medium weight. Not super light, but definitely not very heavy. And I found this on their website regarding UK shipping: “Our retail partner over at Goop.com ships to Canada, the UK and the EU. You can find our listing on their website here: https://shop.goop.com/shop/products/ceramic-cookware-set. If you have any questions about the shipping or duty charges, please contact their team. I hope that helps!

You should definitely be partnering with them because this post certainly made me want to throw out all of my old cookware and switch to Caraway Home. I hadn’t heard of the brand previously, but it sounds excellent!

I am afraid of non stick and use stainless steel. I also have a small cast iron pan, which is a healthier option, too. I am drawn to the gorgeous white. Next time I need a new piece of cookware, I’ll definitely check into this company. Thanks!

This cookware looks so pretty too! I’m always on the lookout for cookware that is functional AND beautiful. I’ve never used ceramic cookware before, but I can imagine that it is definitely easier to clean afterwards too. I’ll have to get my hands on a set + see what I think… Thanks for sharing! Xx

Anyone else always miss the hair on their kneecaps Anyone else always miss the hair on their kneecaps no matter how carefully you shave?! 😂 Please tell me I’m not the only one!

I swear I can spend forever shaving my legs, think they’re perfectly smooth, and then the second I get out of the shower… boom. Hair still hanging out on my kneecaps. 🤦🏼‍♀️

At 33 years old, you’d think I’d have figured out how to shave my knees by now, but apparently not. 😂 Is there some secret shaving hack for smooth legs that everyone knows except me?!

Please tell me this is one of those universal girl problems and I’m not alone! Drop a 🙋🏼‍♀️ if your kneecaps somehow survive every shave. 😂

Little Miss Charlie was not impressed with those b Little Miss Charlie was not impressed with those bunnies hopping around her yard uninvited this weekend! 🐰😹

Watching my indoor cat go into full “hunter mode” over the rabbits outside the window had me laughing so hard! 😂 And can we talk about those little back leg kicks at the end? I lose it every single time! 🤣

Poor girl is so determined to catch those bunnies… even though she’s never actually hunted anything besides a toy mouse. 😜 We’ll let her keep believing she’s the fiercest little huntress on the block.

Tell me… does your cat chatter at birds, squirrels, or rabbits through the window too? 🐈

And to my sweet hubby, thank you for giving me grace, slowing down when I need to, carrying the things I can’t, and reminding me that making memories together is what matters most ♥️
Remember those viral Pottery Barn-inspired jack-o’ Remember those viral Pottery Barn-inspired jack-o’-lanterns everyone wanted a few Halloweens ago? 🎃 I couldn’t justify the price, so I made my own… and they’ve been my favorite DIY Halloween decorations ever since!
