A few weeks ago, I shared all about Personal Trainer Foods. And today I wanted to share with you all my honest review of Personal Trainer Foods since I just completed the program. I’ve gotta say, I am honestly FLOORED by the results.
I really didn’t think I would lose much weight. Considering the fact that I have a very hard time losing weight. I usually stay around the same size all the time no matter what I do.
So seeing the progress really encouraged me and I can’t wait to share all my results and thoughts with you below!
I was gifted a two week subscription of Personal Trainer Foods, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Food Review
So I’m sure you guys want to know if the food actually tasted good or not. And the answer is yes! I was honestly so skeptical about it.
Because just looking at the bag of frozen food, I wasn’t too impressed. The veggies looked a little plain and I thought they would be disgusting.
But, thankfully they give you a bottle of garlic butter sauce to spruce them up with. And that tasted amazing! I also added in some salt and pepper and that made them taste great as well.
Breakfast
I think my favorite meal from the Personal Trainer Foods program would be their breakfast options. They were honestly very filling and tasted great as well. I love how they had a lot of omelet options to choose from.
Omelets are my favorite breakfast food and I was surprised that you could pretty much have them every morning if you wanted to on this program. Their maple sausage was also very tasty as well!
Lunch
I loved being able to have these meals for lunch too. They are very quick and easy to heat up and serve. I don’t have a lot of time when I am working during the week for lunch.
I am a full time dental hygienist and some days we don’t even take a lunch break. So I always need something quick and easy to heat up.
And these definitely do the trick. They also keep me full and satisfied as well which is always something I am looking for in a lunch too!
Dinner
Again, I loved having these for dinner because of the convenience of them. I didn’t have to worry about what I was going to make when I got off work.
I was able to just throw them into the microwave and have a nice and healthy meal!
However, I will say that sometimes I didn’t feel as though just the meat and veggies were enough for me for dinner.
If I just ate that alone, I was still kinda hungry after a few hours. So I ended up adding in some brown rice/quinoa mixes to my dinners along with the meat and veggies.
And that definitely helped keep me satisfied.
Snacks
I did also continue to eat snacks during the program as well. But I tried to make sure they were healthy and nothing overly indulgent.
I ate a lot of nuts, fruits, and veggies with hummus as snacks. I would also occasionally throw in a fruit smoothie from time to time as well.
I still pretty much ate all the snacks that I enjoyed before, but also still lost weight while on this program.
We were already eating a healthier diet before I started this program, so that helped since I didn’t have a lot of bad foods in the house to tempt me.
Was Personal Trainer Worth it for me?
I will say that I think this meal delivery service was 100% worth it for me. When I started this, I weighed 145.2 pounds
And after I finished the program I weighed 138 pounds. So I lost over 7 pounds in just two short weeks.
I’ve never been able to lose weight that quickly before so it definitely has something to say about the foods you put in your body!
I feel much better and I am going to continue eating right and exercise more this year to keep this up. I don’t want to go back to where I was.
So I am very thankful to Personal Trainer Foods and being able to partner up and try it out this year! I loved it!

Love to get quick meals and just heat them. As a blogger, don’t have so much time to cook.
Charity Gentry says
Yes it definitely cuts out a lot of cooking time for sure

These look tasty! Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts on this. I’ve never heard of it before and it sounds like an interesting concept x
Charity Gentry says
Thank you, it sure is and I have been loving it!

Thanks for your honest review of the program and I’m happy that you found you enjoyed it. I wonder how sustainable it would be in the long run – particularly as 7 lbs in 2 weeks is not considered to be a healthy weight loss.

At first, I didn’t realize that “Personal Trainer Foods” was the name of the product/ company. I thought that you were just going to eat ‘like’ personal trainers do. After reading your post, I can definitely appreciate the appeal of a quick grab and go meal. It’s so nice to NOT have to decide what to cook and then plan ahead to make sure you have everything you need to make it. The breakfast items looked most appealing to me. I have texture issues, so I’m not sure putting my proteins and veggies would work for me with the lunch/ dinner options. It’s great that the overall program worked for you and that you’re feeling better. I wish you well on your health journey.

It’s great to hear that you had success using this program and that egg and sausage patty breakfast really does look scrummy!

Thank you, it was delicious for sure!

I hadn’t heard of the Personal Trainer food delivery service before. It’s great you were able to see immediate results. I’m on the Weight Watchers app (free with my health insurance plan) and I do like the way it makes me think about the food I put into my body. This program you reviewed seems to be similar in that way. Congrats on your successful experience!
Charity Gentry says
Yes it does seem to be familiar with Weight Watchers. I have had a few people tell me that too!
Betty says
I like omelets too. I have not had one in a long time.
Charity Gentry says
Yes I love omelets too!

This is my first time hearing about Personal Trainer Foods. I really appreciate your honest review of not only how much you enjoyed the food and convenience of it, but how it affected your weight loss as well. Seven pounds in 2 weeks is great!

I know right?! I was very shocked. I hope the results last even after the program! I am trying to continue to eat healthier too!

It’s good to hear that you had success with this program. Do you know what the food’s source is? Is it organic? That would help a lot, thanks.
Charity Gentry says
I am not sure. I am sure it would tell you on their actual website, I want to say yes but I’m not 100% sure
Karalee Shotola says
That’s wonderful to hear the food did taste good! Meat & veggies are not much for dinner so I understand needing to add brown rice or quinoa to make it more filling.
Charity Gentry says
Yes, adding the rice or quinoa definitely helped a lot!
