I officially made it through my first full week back to work after a month-long surgery leave, and whew… the post-op fatigue is NO joke.

Every evening has looked pretty much the same: clock out, soak my aching body in a scorching hot bath, grab my heating pad, put on my weighted eye mask, and immediately take a cat nap before I can even think about making dinner or doing anything around the house. 😴

I knew recovering from endometriosis excision surgery would take time, but I didn’t expect the exhaustion to hit this hard after returning to work. My body is definitely reminding me that healing isn’t always a straight line.

Right now, this little recovery routine is getting me through:

💛 Emergency evening nap

Thankfully, it’s finally the weekend, and I can focus on resting and recharging before doing it all over again next week.

If you’ve had endometriosis excision surgery, how long did the fatigue last for you after returning to work? Please tell me this part doesn’t last forever! 😂👇

I can’t believe it’s officially been one month sin I can’t believe it’s officially been one month since my endometriosis excision surgery. Honestly, I really thought by now I’d be coming on here saying I finally felt like myself again. I wanted this surgery to be the answer so badly. But the truth is… I’m still struggling every single day.

The lower back pain, hip pain, chronic fatigue, GI issues, insomnia, dizziness, and POTS-like symptoms are all still here. And while my surgeon was absolutely wonderful and removed the endometriosis she found, we’re now starting to realize there may be something more going on underneath it all.

Right now we’re exploring possibilities like EDS, MCAS, and POTS, which honestly feels overwhelming because getting doctors to truly listen and take women seriously can feel like a full time job in itself. I know so many women with chronic illness, endometriosis, and invisible illnesses understand exactly what I mean.

But even though I’m discouraged, I’m not giving up. I know my body, I know something still isn’t right, and I’ll continue advocating for myself until I get answers. And if sharing my story helps even one woman feel less alone in her own health journey, then it’s worth it 🤍 #chronicillnessawareness #chronicillnesswarrior #endometriosis #endometriosisexcision #chronicallyill

My Honest Review of Personal Trainer Foods

A few weeks ago, I shared all about Personal Trainer Foods. And today I wanted to share with you all my honest review of Personal Trainer Foods since I just completed the program. I’ve gotta say, I am honestly FLOORED by the results.

I really didn’t think I would lose much weight. Considering the fact that I have a very hard time losing weight. I usually stay around the same size all the time no matter what I do.

So seeing the progress really encouraged me and I can’t wait to share all my results and thoughts with you below!

My Honest Review of Personal Trainer Foods

I was gifted a two week subscription of Personal Trainer Foods, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Food Review

So I’m sure you guys want to know if the food actually tasted good or not. And the answer is yes! I was honestly so skeptical about it.

Because just looking at the bag of frozen food, I wasn’t too impressed. The veggies looked a little plain and I thought they would be disgusting.

But, thankfully they give you a bottle of garlic butter sauce to spruce them up with. And that tasted amazing! I also added in some salt and pepper and that made them taste great as well.

Breakfast

I think my favorite meal from the Personal Trainer Foods program would be their breakfast options. They were honestly very filling and tasted great as well. I love how they had a lot of omelet options to choose from.

Breakfast Food
Breakfast Food
Personal Trainer Food Breakfast

Omelets are my favorite breakfast food and I was surprised that you could pretty much have them every morning if you wanted to on this program. Their maple sausage was also very tasty as well!

Lunch

I loved being able to have these meals for lunch too. They are very quick and easy to heat up and serve. I don’t have a lot of time when I am working during the week for lunch.

Lunch Foods
Lunch Foods

I am a full time dental hygienist and some days we don’t even take a lunch break. So I always need something quick and easy to heat up.

And these definitely do the trick. They also keep me full and satisfied as well which is always something I am looking for in a lunch too!

Dinner

Again, I loved having these for dinner because of the convenience of them. I didn’t have to worry about what I was going to make when I got off work.

I was able to just throw them into the microwave and have a nice and healthy meal!

Dinner
Dinner

However, I will say that sometimes I didn’t feel as though just the meat and veggies were enough for me for dinner.

If I just ate that alone, I was still kinda hungry after a few hours. So I ended up adding in some brown rice/quinoa mixes to my dinners along with the meat and veggies.

And that definitely helped keep me satisfied.

Snacks

I did also continue to eat snacks during the program as well. But I tried to make sure they were healthy and nothing overly indulgent.

I ate a lot of nuts, fruits, and veggies with hummus as snacks. I would also occasionally throw in a fruit smoothie from time to time as well.

I still pretty much ate all the snacks that I enjoyed before, but also still lost weight while on this program.

We were already eating a healthier diet before I started this program, so that helped since I didn’t have a lot of bad foods in the house to tempt me.

Was Personal Trainer Worth it for me?

I will say that I think this meal delivery service was 100% worth it for me. When I started this, I weighed 145.2 pounds

And after I finished the program I weighed 138 pounds. So I lost over 7 pounds in just two short weeks.

Review of Personal Trainer
Pin for later!

I’ve never been able to lose weight that quickly before so it definitely has something to say about the foods you put in your body!

I feel much better and I am going to continue eating right and exercise more this year to keep this up. I don’t want to go back to where I was.

So I am very thankful to Personal Trainer Foods and being able to partner up and try it out this year! I loved it!

At first, I didn’t realize that “Personal Trainer Foods” was the name of the product/ company. I thought that you were just going to eat ‘like’ personal trainers do. After reading your post, I can definitely appreciate the appeal of a quick grab and go meal. It’s so nice to NOT have to decide what to cook and then plan ahead to make sure you have everything you need to make it. The breakfast items looked most appealing to me. I have texture issues, so I’m not sure putting my proteins and veggies would work for me with the lunch/ dinner options. It’s great that the overall program worked for you and that you’re feeling better. I wish you well on your health journey.

So instead of using the actual truck bed for two 1 So instead of using the actual truck bed for two 12-foot trees, he somehow decides cramming them into my SUV is the better option 🤣 And I’m still shocked they even fit. Barely 😅

Meanwhile, his shiny new truck is sitting safe and spotless in the garage where not a single speck of dirt or potting soil can touch it 😂🚙

Tell me I’m not the only wife dealing with this kind of logic?! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 #marriagehumor #povreels #funnymarriage #husbandwifecomedy #husbandwifejokes
