I used to think the only way to get a good iced coffee was to go to Starbucks. But, how wrong was I when I discovered I could easily make a delicious iced coffee from home?! Not only does it save me a ton of money to do it from home, but also a ton of calories too.
By making it from home I can control exactly how sweet I want it or how much ingredients to add in. This is always helpful for when you are trying to eat a little better and be more conscious of what you are putting in your body.
And don’t get me wrong, I do love a Starbucks drink occasionally to treat myself! But, I just don’t want to have to go there every single morning before work. So keep on reading to see what I do to make this easy iced coffee from home!

Equipment Needed:
In order to make this easy iced coffee from home, you do need a few kitchen essentials. Such as a milk frother and a coffee maker.
Thankfully, my coffee maker came with both and I can do iced coffee or hot coffee with my frother. I have the K-Cafe Brewer and I can link it for you below in case you are looking for a new coffee maker too.
However, if the one you have works just fine, then no worries on buying a completely new system. You can always order a cheaper, stand alone milk frother from Amazon or somewhere like that!
My Favorite Coffee Syrups
Like I stated above, I try to make my at home coffee drinks a little more calorie conscious. So I like to order sugar free coffee syrups to use.
I like the Jordan brand of Skinny Syrups that you can buy directly off of Amazon for a great price. I will link them below. They come in many different flavors and you can buy a whole bundle of them! That way you can truly be your own barista!
This specific pack of syrups that I got comes with a total of six different flavors. They include: vanilla, salted caramel, mocha, caramel, butter toffee, and hazelnut.
My favorite one personally is the mocha! I always tend to go through that one a little faster than the others. You can also order some pumps to easily dispense the coffee syrups as well.
I ended up getting six of those too since it made it easier to make.
Even though these syrups are sugar free, they honestly taste just fine to me! I’d rather use this kind of syrup daily for my easy iced coffee than load it down with a bunch of sugar.
Like I said above, I like to save those for a special occasion or whenever I want to treat myself a little!
How To Make the Easiest Iced Coffee Recipe Ever
Now that you have all the equipment and everything you need, you can get started! I love to use unsweetened vanilla almond milk for my iced coffees.
But you could definitely use whatever milk you have on hand or prefer. I also always use my Tayst Coffee Pods to brew my coffee.
I absolutely love this company and I have shared about them numerous times before. But, if you’re a coffee lover like me, you definitely need this coffee subscription service in your life!
After I have all my ingredients gathered together, I add in my almond milk and coffee syrup into the frother. There is a line in my frother that shows me where to fill it up to so I don’t overfill it.
And I’m sure any other milk frother would do the same. You could definitely add in some sugar too if you wanted here, but I usually don’t.
Once I put everything into the frother, I simply place it on my Keurig machine and let it do the work! It has the option to do cold or hot lattes and/or cappuccinos so that is always nice.
Make sure if you order a separate frother that it has the ability to do cold as well! The cool thing about the frother with this Keurig is that it is top shelf dishwasher safe!
So I love the fact that I don’t have to constantly hand wash it!
Mix It All Together
Once the coffee is brewed and the milk is frothed, you can add it together. I slowly pour in the frothed milk onto the coffee.
Sometimes I have to take a few sips before I pour the entire thing in there because it will overflow! And then I mix it all together with a straw to ensure the coffee syrup mixture gets all the way into the coffee.
And that’s it! See, you can definitely make this easy iced coffee recipe too! I love having everything on hand to be my own barista and to be able to customize my own coffee drink.
Do you like making your coffee drinks at home too? If so, let me know what your favorite coffee drink is to make! I would love to hear how you do it too!
