Do y’all go out or stay in on New Years Eve? We always stay in, but I like to still make it special. It’s usually our last hurrah before the dieting and eating healthy begins again. I like to make all our favorite snacks to munch on throughout the day. So I thought it would be fun to share some New Year’s Eve Charcuterie Board ideas with you all today!
I love any excuse to put together a themed board, so this is right up my alley. And this would be perfect if you were throwing or hosting a NYE party too. I just try to use what I can and make a fun grazing board for us to enjoy all day.
I don’t like to do too much, again, seeing as how we will be starting the diet on the actual New Year, but I still like to celebrate and make it special. And charcuterie boards are always such a good and easy option.
Especially since you can get everything at your local grocery store too. So if you’re looking for some fun and different charcuterie board ideas, keep on reading!

How To Make a New Year’s Eve Charcuterie Board
If you’re going the traditional route, you can always just place a variety of cheeses, fresh fruit (or dried fruit), fresh herbs, the traditional salami rose to make it pretty, baguette slices, different types of olives, and fresh vegetables. And if you’re a huge cheese lover, why not make a New Year’s Eve cheese board specifically instead?
You could place your favorite cheeses all over the board such as blue cheese, goat cheese, hard cheese, cream cheese, etc. You get the idea! And then you could have out some yummy fig jam and crackers to accompany the delicious cheeses too!
However, I wanted to do more of a snack board and include some savory finger foods instead of just the traditional charcuterie.
If you’ve been around here long enough, then you know I love to do different themed charcuterie boards. Such as my fall dessert board (which can also double as a halloween board) and my Valentine’s Day charcuterie board too.
And both of those boards included more than just the usual snacks. I think if you want to make a delicious charcuterie board, the options are endless. You can put whatever you want on it and style it however you want too. That’s always the fun of it in my opinion!
What Are Some Good Finger Foods For New Year’s Eve?
Speaking of finger foods, you may be wondering what else you could put on a New Year’s charcuterie board. Well, I am glad you asked because I have plenty of ideas here! I am a snack and finger food gal, so I have plenty of different ideas for you!
My number one go to is my yummy sausage balls recipe. I literally do not go a New Year’s Eve without making these yummy and savory snacks! Plus, they are super easy to throw on a charcuterie board as well. If you don’t like sausage balls, you could always just add some plain sausage slices on the board instead too.
Another good finger food idea is a traditional shrimp ring with cocktail sauce. Who doesn’t love that?! And again, it’s super easy to throw that on top of a wooden board as well. Plus, it’s a really easy appetizer since you can just buy one and not have to do much for it!
If you’re looking for healthier options, you could always serve vegetables with hummus too. That’s quick and easy and I included some cherry tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and cucumbers on our board as well.
And don’t forget the sweet treats as well! I usually make my Heath Bar Cookies for New Year’s Eve too, but I didn’t this year since I just made them for Christmas. I cheated and bought some desserts instead.
Our local Publix had the cutest New Year’s Eve themed petite fours, so I figured I just had to throw them on the board too! Another great idea to make it more of a New Year’s board is to throw clock numbers around it. Especially if you have a round board like I do here!
I used my Glowforge Aura Machine to make the clock numbers. To make them, I just had the numbers printed out on black acrylic and then placed them all around the board for a fun and festive touch!
Enjoy Your New Year’s Eve Charcuterie Board
I hope you enjoyed all these fun ideas for a holiday charcuterie board. It really is a fun and creative way to celebrate the New Year. And enjoy it too of course! I always love me a good reason to snack and make a themed board!
If you have trouble styling your board too, just use some small bowls of various sizes to place things in. And fill in any empty spaces with something easy such as apple slices or any other seasonal fruit. It’s a good charcuterie board if you can’t really see any of the board beneath it! That way you know it’s topped full of all your favorite foods to enjoy too!
Plus, you could always lay out additional snacks around the charcuterie board to enjoy too. If you make a seasonal charcuterie board too, tell me what some of your favorite tasty treats are to put on it as well! And I hope you all have a very happy New Year my friends!

This is such a cute idea and I love that you added clock numbers around the board. The stuffed mushrooms look delicious, and I like the addition of fruit and veggies.
