Y’all know I am all about finding easy DIY projects to do. Especially for seasonal decor such as Valentine’s Day. So today I thought I would share with you all my Valentines Day wooden craft ideas. I’ve made a few fun ones this season and I am hoping it will give you some ideas when it comes to wood crafts.
These adorable Valentine crafts would make for perfect gift for someone you love as well. I’ll be using my amazing Glowforge Aura machine to make these easy crafts and I will share below just how easy it is to do. And the best part is that these crafts do not require a high skill level or master woodworking skills at all to complete either.

DIY Valentine’s Day Earrings
Y’all know one of my absolute favorite things to make with my Aura machine is wooden earrings. And the best part is I can usually use up pieces of my scrap wood to make these earrings as well. They are small in size, so they don’t require a lot of space!
To make them, I just found a design I liked in the Glowforge software, and then printed them out. I also used Gorilla Tape to get rid of the masking tape on the wood pieces after they were printed out.
Then, for the fun part, I decided to paint them using these fun acrylic paint pens. This set I got has every color you could possibly imagine. And the pens have a bigger tip and a fine tip for more detail work. Which makes painting small earrings like this much easier!
I think these acrylic paint pens need to be one of your staples when it comes to your craft supplies! For the earrings, I did a few coats each and then let them dry about 20 minutes in between before adding the new coat.
After the paint was dry, I added on some jewelry hooks to make them wearable and that’s it! The finished product looks so cute! If you wanted to make these even easier and leave the earrings more neutral, you don’t even have to paint them! The unfinished wood look to these valentine earrings are super pretty too!
You could keep these for yourself, or give them out as Valentine’s gifts too. How fun would these be to give out as Galentine’s Day party favors for all your girlfriends?!
DIY Valentine’s Day Recipe Board
Another fun Valentine’s Day craft is this cute little DIY recipe board I made. You may remember in the past I shared all about how to make laser engraved mini recipe boards. And this is basically the same idea.
Although, I just used a regular font for it and didn’t scan in someone’s actual handwriting. But, you totally could to make it an even more special Valentine’s Day gift for a loved one! That would be an incredible homemade gift for sure!
But anyways, to make this, I just found some mini recipe boards and then masked them with tape. After that, I placed them in my Glowforge machine and engraved the “Recipe For Love” on the board. I also had extra scrap wood laying around and cut out a little heart too.
Then, I paint the heart and removed all the extra masking tape from the board once it was done printing. Once my little heart was dry, I glued it onto the board using some hot glue.
The finishing touch was to add a themed ribbon on top of the board as well. I absolutely love this new Valentine’s Day decor piece I made, and it looks perfect on a tiered tray for display!
DIY Valentine’s Day Place Settings
Another adorable Valentine’s Day craft idea is to make these super cute word place settings. This project probably took the longest, just because I had to print out a total of 6 different place settings for it. And each place setting had different sweet messages on it, so not one is the same!
I thought about painting these place settings too once they were done printing, but decided they looked perfect just the way they were! The unfinished wood looks great against my DIY stained paper hearts in my opinion too!
These DIY place settings were the perfect touch to celebrating this romantic holiday with your loved ones. Especially if you are planning on staying in and cooking a romantic meal together like we are too!
I hope you enjoyed all these easy wooden valentine’s day crafts I shared and I hope you are able to make some yourself too. And this is your sign if you were considering getting a Glowforge Aura machine, to do so now!!
You can do so many fun Valentine’s Day craft ideas, as well as even other holiday imaginable too! And you can make everything according to your own personal taste too!
So be sure to check it out more if you are considering it, and please let me know if you have any questions at all! Have a happy Valentine’s Day my friends and have fun crafting!
