āIngredients Needed For Easter Chocolate Covered Strawberries

How To Make Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
I ended up making 2 different kinds of chocolate covered strawberries. And I love how both of them turned out. You can make both too, or pick and choose which one is your favorite!
The possibilities are endless when it comes to making these cute strawberries. You could also just dip the strawberries into different melted pastel colors to make them look like Easter eggs too!
You can find the candy melts I mentioned above at your local craft store such as Michael’s, or you can even order them online from Amazon too.

Carrot Chocolate Covered Strawberries
So first, I figured I would make some strawberry carrots by using the orange candy melts. You could also use melted white chocolate with orange food coloring too if you can’t find the candy melts.
I just find the candy melts are much easier to melt and work with. Be sure to follow the package’s directions throughly. But usually, you start by melting them for 60 seconds in a microwave safe bowl.

Then stir, and replace back in microwave at 30 second intervals until chocolate melts smoothly. You can also use a double boiler to melt the chocolate too if you have one of those.
Then, dip each strawberry into melted chocolate and place in a single layer on a sheet of parchment paper until chocolate sets at room temperature. I also like to use any remaining chocolate and let excess chocolate drip on top of the finished strawberries.

Your decorating skills don’t have to be perfect, just use a fork and swirl the chocolate around on top of the strawberries for a zig zag pattern. Not only did I use the orange chocolate, but I used some of the leftover white chocolate too.
You can even take these carrot strawberries a step further and create a “carrot cake”. Place decorated strawberries on top of individual cups filled with chocolate pudding and sprinkle crushed Oreos around the top to create a “dirt like” finish. So cute and simple!

Easter Bunny Strawberries
The next set of strawberries I decided to make were these cute Easter bunny strawberries. To do so, I just dipped each strawberry into the melted white chocolate first.

Then, I created an Easter bunny face by using the pastel colored M&M’s. Using the same 2 colors, cut one M&M in half using a sharp knife. The half pieces create the bunny ears. Place the M&M’s into the dipped strawberries while the chocolate is still setting.

Again, let harden and set before eating. To store strawberries, place paper towel in the bottom of an airtight container. Then, place strawberries on top and put in the fridge. The paper towel will help absorb any excess moisture when storing. Berries should keep for 2-3 days, but enjoy day of for best results.

Enjoy These Easter Chocolate Covered Strawberries!
Well if you have some fresh strawberries on hand, I hope you put this Easter recipe to good use! I love how you can make this fun little treat with simple ingredients that you can find at your local grocery store too.

They would be perfect for Easter brunch or dinner and would be the perfect addition to your Easter desserts! I hope you all love these Easter chocolate covered strawberries ideas just as much as I do and I hope you have a wonderful time with all your Easter celebrations going on this year too!
