I almost didn’t post this. After sharing all of ou I almost didn’t post this. After sharing all of our beach vacation content last week, it probably looked like we had the perfect trip. Smiles, sunsets, seafood, beach days, and we truly did make some amazing memories.
But social media rarely shows everything. What you didn’t see was my heart pounding every time I carried my beach bag down to the sand. Feeling so dizzy and nauseous that I had to run back to the condo just to throw up. Watching my heart rate skyrocket and my Apple Watch constantly sending high heart rate notifications, even while I was just sitting at dinner or relaxing on the couch. Imagine how high it gets when I’m actually doing something. You didn’t see my hands shaking so badly that putting on my makeup became a challenge.
Or the hours spent on the phone with doctors, insurance companies, and specialists trying to get referrals approved, MRIs scheduled, and answers that still haven’t come. After weeks of waiting, I finally got my brain, spine, and lower back MRIs scheduled, but they’re not until August 18. So now comes even more waiting and hoping for answers. 🙃
You didn’t see me checking my suitcase over and over, terrified I’d forget an important medication or something I might need while we were away.
And when we finally made it home? I ended up with what seemed like an allergic reaction, my right eye swelled shut, burned, and watered nonstop, my nose couldn’t decide if it wanted to be stuffed up or run like a faucet, and I topped it all off with a pounding migraine. This is the reality of living with an invisible illness.
You learn how to smile through the symptoms. You push through when you can. You rest when you have to. And you become really good at making things look “normal” even when your body is fighting you every step of the way. So if you’ve ever looked at someone’s vacation photos and thought they must have it all together, this is your reminder that you never know what someone is carrying behind the scenes.
And to my sweet hubby, thank you for giving me grace, slowing down when I need to, carrying the things I can’t, and reminding me that making memories together is what matters most ♥️

Fall is hands-down my favorite season, and I am so ready for all the cozy fall vibes.

Is anyone else’s robot vacuum constantly getting l Is anyone else’s robot vacuum constantly getting lost or dying in the most random places? 😂 Mine literally only had to move TWO more feet to reach its charging dock, but instead it just gave up. Like… buddy, you were so close! 🤣

I also find it trapped under beds, cabinets, and furniture more often than I find it actually cleaning the house. At this point, I spend more time searching for my robot vacuum than I would if I just grabbed the regular vacuum myself. 😂

I know robot vacuums are supposed to make cleaning easier, but sometimes they create their own little adventures instead. Please tell me I’m not the only one! Does your robot vacuum have a mind of its own too, or is mine just extra dramatic? 🤣

The forecast said cloudy with a chance of rain on The forecast said cloudy with a chance of rain on our first day of vacation, so I figured, “Why get all set up on the beach if we’re just going to get rained out?” Seemed like a solid plan…

Except “chance of rain” turned into a full-on monsoon. 🌧️💀

There I was… the golf cart passenger princess, completely soaked from every direction while my husband happily kept golfing. Because golf consumes every thought he has and he has also been obsessed with watching The Hawk on Netflix the entire duration of our vacation so far 🤣

Turns out I love the cute golf outfits (shoutout to @altardstate for this cute fit find!) and don’t mind riding along with a good book… but becoming one with the rain? Hard pass. 😩

At least we got a few good laughs before the downpour! Now I’m manifesting sunshine for the rest of vacation because I’d much rather be by the pool than back on the golf course. 😂

POV: You planned your beach vacation during Shark POV: You planned your beach vacation during Shark Week because obviously all the sharks are busy filming TV. 😂🦈

In case you didn’t know… Shark Week is the safest week to go to the beach because all the sharks are away on TV right now, so there’s absolutely no chance of getting bitten. (Don’t fact-check me. 🤣)

Looks like we accidentally picked the perfect week to visit Dirty Myrtle! 🌊☀️

Who’s heading to Myrtle Beach this summer? And be honest… are you team “I’ll still get in the ocean” or team “I’ll admire it from the sand”? 😂

I’ll never say no to a sunset cruise in Myrtle Bea I’ll never say no to a sunset cruise in Myrtle Beach! There’s just something about watching the sun melt into the ocean while the breeze hits your face that makes you forget about life’s chaos for a little while.

And honestly? I needed that.

With everything that’s been going on lately, this was exactly the reset my heart needed. For a couple of hours, all I had to worry about was whether I wanted another drink and if we were going to see dolphins. 😂

So yes… call it Dirty Myrtle all you want, but she gave me gorgeous sunsets, peaceful ocean views, and memories I’ll be replaying long after vacation is over.

Now excuse me while I spend the next six months trying to convince my husband we need to move somewhere that has sunsets like this every night. 🤣

Who’s team Dirty Myrtle… and who’s still refusing to admit it’s actually kind of fun? 👇🏻😉

Easter Office Decorating Ideas

If you been around here long enough, then you know I love seasonal decor and try to implement it into every room of the house, office included! So I thought today it would be fun to share some Easter office decorating ideas with you all.

You may remember back in February, I did the same thing with sharing home office Valentine’s Day decoration ideas too. So I thought this was the perfect time to add in a few seasonal touches again this Easter season.

Plus, all these Easter decorating ideas for the office are super simple and do not require much effort or a lot of money at all! So be sure to keep on reading to see just how easy it is to decorate your home office for Easter Sunday this year too!

Vintage Easter Greeting Card

This post contains affiliate links. Click here to read my disclosure policy.

Easter Reading Nook

I think the space that has the most Easter touches is my reading nook. From the paper bunnies banner to the decorative eggs sitting in the egg tray on the shelf. There are plenty of Easter touches here.

Easter Office Reading Nook

The eggs in the tray are pretty neutral, so they will go with anything kind of office decor. But, I definitely love the subtle polka dots to them too! And you could easily make the paper bunny banner too as some fun Easter crafts to do with the family.

Close Up of Easter Eggs With Polka Dots

Simply grab some old, antiqued book paper and trace out a bunny template shape. Then, cut it out and place each book page on a twine string with a mini paperclip and viola! You have an adorable, handmade Easter banner! It’s one of the most easiest DIY projects that you could do! You could also make a carrot garland similar to this as well!

Easter Bunny Garland

Plus, the book page theme goes really well for my reading nook corner! I also have one of my very favorite pieces, a vintage book with a bunny on the cover, displayed on the top of my open shelves here. The book is called “Bumper The White Rabbit In The Woods” and I got it a few years ago when I went to Vintage Pickin’.

Vintage Easter Book

The best Easter decorations, in my opinion, are of course vintage! And to continue that theme, in my reading chair, I have a vintage, stuffed Easter bunny displayed. One cute girl bunny and one boy bunny! I got these from my Mother in law and they go perfectly with my vintage Easter theme in the office! I couldn’t imagine a more adorable bunny figurine to go here!

Vintage Easter Bunnies

DIY Easter Wreath

You probably remember my DIY Dollar Tree Easter Wreath I shared a few weeks ago too. I placed it on the tobacco basket in my office for an extra sprinkle of Easter decor instead of my front door.

Easter Office Decorating Ideas

But, below that, I have a dough bowl and I filled it with some plastic Easter eggs all in pastel colors. This would make a stunning centerpiece on a dining table too. And how easy is it to fill a dough bowl with some plastic eggs right?!

Close Up of Plastic Easter Eggs

And I have a cute ledge letter board sign that I added in front of the dough bowl as well. It says Easter with some pastel polka dots so it definitely is fitting the trend here! It’s the perfect Easter table decor combination! It would also all look great together on a coffee table too. The variety of colors is so fun and spring-like, without being too overwhelming as well.

Easter Office Decor

As you can see, these Easter office decorating ideas are super simple! Nothing too crazy or too much, which is perfect. Plus, you can leave them out past Easter if you wanted to. It works for spring decor too!

Vintage Easter Card

The best part of my Easter office decorating ideas is this vintage Easter greeting card I found. I love the old graphics to it and by placing it on a flower frog, it makes for the perfect, easy Easter display!

I love Easter sentiments like this because it even has handwriting displayed on the back still. As well as an old one cent stamp too! I wish I could see exactly how old it is, but the writing has faded just a bit.

Vintage Easter Greeting Card
I love using my flower frog to display vintage greeting cards like this! If you don’t have one, I will link one below that you can get from Amazon too!

Decorating Your Home Office For Easter

Well, I hope you enjoyed all these egg-cellent ideas (see what I did there?!). And no matter if you plan on decorating your home office for Easter or not, you could always save these ideas for next year too!

I can’t believe how far along into the spring season we are already. Easter will definitely be here before you know it! So I hope that you enjoyed these Easter office decorating ideas and can put them to good use!

Easter Office Shelves

Plus, these don’t have to be specifically office related only. It’s a good idea to use them anywhere in your home that you can! I just hope this puts you a little into the spring spirit to decorate too!

And I hope you all have a fabulous Easter holiday and enjoy spending time with your loved ones and family this season! Whether you have a big Easter gathering, or a small and intimate Easter dinner, I am wishing you all the best and thanks so much as usual for stopping by my blog!

If you’re looking for easy DIY Halloween decor, th If you’re looking for easy DIY Halloween decor, these spooky cute ghost plant markers are the perfect project! 👻🖤

I made these using my @glowforge machine, and I can’t get over how adorable they turned out! Once they were cut, all they needed was a quick coat of white spray paint, and they were ready to decorate my fall planters.

I can’t wait to stick them in my mums this autumn! They’re such a fun way to add a little spooky charm to your fall porch decor, outdoor planters, or even your garden. Plus, they’re so simple to make!

Who else is already counting down the days until it’s time to decorate for Halloween? 🎃👻

Tell me… are you Team Golf ⛳️ or Team Pool? 🏖️👇
