And the craziest part?! We literally JUST brushed her yesterday. 😬 How does one fluffy little tuxedo cat have this much fur to give?!

Being a cat mom basically means accepting that cat hair is now an accessory, your lint roller is your best friend, and you’ll be doing laundry for the rest of your life. 🤣

Thankfully, Charlie is cute enough to get away with it… and clearly VERY unbothered by the fact that she completely ruined my outfit. 😹

10 YEARS. 🤍😭 Today is our 10 year wedding anniver 10 YEARS. 🤍😭

Today is our 10 year wedding anniversary, and I truly cannot believe an entire decade has already gone by. Somehow, it feels like we were just saying “I do,” and at the same time, I can’t imagine a version of my life without you in it.

Logan, you are my rock, my safe space, my biggest supporter, my constant encourager, and most importantly, my best friend. 🤍

This past year has probably been one of the hardest years we’ve walked through together. Between everything going on with my health, the uncertainty surrounding my job and my future, and all the unknowns we’ve had to navigate, life has looked a lot different than I ever imagined it would.

But through every hard day, every appointment, every disappointment, every fear, and every unknown, you have been right there beside me. You’ve supported me, encouraged me, taken care of me, made me laugh when I needed it most, and reminded me over and over again that I never have to go through any of it alone.

And I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words how much that means to me.

I’m so incredibly blessed that God gave me you. 🥹🤍 I would choose you over and over again in every lifetime.

Happy 10 year anniversary, Logan!! I love you more than you’ll ever know. Here’s to the next 10 years, and every single year after that. 🥂🤍

A whole decade down, forever to go. ♾️

Nothing humbles you quite like standing in your freshly cleaned kitchen, staring at the lunch you were so excited to eat… on the floor. 😂

Remember that gorgeous amber glass pumpkin candle Remember that gorgeous amber glass pumpkin candle from @antiquecandleco_ I shared last month?! Well… I’m sad to report that I’ve already burned through the entire thing 🤣 It smelled THAT good!

But honestly, one of my favorite things about this fall candle is that the beautiful amber glass pumpkin jar can be repurposed once the candle is gone. After giving mine a good clean, I turned it into the cutest little Halloween candy jar! 🍬🎃

The Easiest Fruit Cobbler Recipe Ever

Are y’all ready for the easiest fruit cobbler recipe ever?? I am obsessed with fruit cobblers, especially during the summertime. But sometimes, I just don’t have the time to make one completely from scratch. So that’s why I love to use my Mad Dash Mix of fruit cobbler to make preparing this amazing dessert even easier! Keep on reading below to see just how you too can make the easiest (and tastiest) fruit cobbler ever!

The Easiest Fruit Cobbler Recipe Ever
Pin for later!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 Cup of Milk
  • 2 Cups of Fresh or Frozen Fruit
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter
  • Mad Dash Fruit Cobbler Mix (This mix comes with actually two mixes inside it. One is for the batter and one is for the fruit)
  • Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)
Ingredients for the Easiest Fruit Cobbler Ever
Here is everything that comes in the Mad Dash fruit cobbler mix!

Make The Batter:

The first thing you want to do is combine your batter mix with just 3/4 milk and that’s it for the batter! How incredibly easy is that?!

So much better than hand measuring out all the other batter ingredients and making it from scratch.

Combining Batter Mix

I love how quick and convenient Mad Dash Mixes are. They literally take all the hard work out of cooking and baking which makes it much more enjoyable!

Make the Fruit Mix:

After you make the batter, set it aside for just a few minutes while you make your fruit mix. To do this, all you need is the fruit mix from Mad Dash Mixes and 2 cups of fresh or frozen fruit.

If you use frozen fruit, just be sure that it is completely thawed out at first.

Blackberries for Cobbler
I like getting a big bag of frozen fruit for this recipe because again, it just makes it so much easier to prepare!

I love how you can choose whatever fruit you want for this recipe. I chose blackberries because nothing says summer to me more than blackberry cobbler!

But you could also do strawberries, peach, blueberries, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Making the Fruit Mix
Here you can see I mixed the fruit and the fruit mix together.

Making the Cobbler:

Now you’re going to want to melt the 1/2 cup of butter and pour it all into a 9×13 pan. Then, pour in your batter mixture and DO NOT STIR!

Pour Melted Butter In Pan
Here you can see I just poured the melted butter in. Shop my favorite kitchen essentials below too:

After the butter and the batter is in the pan, carefully spoon the fruit mix all over the top of the mixture evenly.

Unbaked Fruit Cobbler
This is how it should look before baking it.

Bake the Cobbler:

After you’ve spooned the fruit mix on top, it’s now ready to go in the oven. Place into a preheated oven of 350 degrees and bake for one hour.

Baked Blackberry Cobbler
Look at that nice and golden crust on top- YUM!

I mean, can this fruit cobbler recipe get any easier?! You just need minimal ingredients and just one hour of baking time and viola!

You are done and have a beautiful fruit cobbler that everyone will think you made from complete scratch! And I haven’t even shared the best part yet with you all!

Fruit Cobbler with Ice Cream
Look at all that deliciousness. You don’t have to top off the warm cobbler with some vanilla ice cream, but I highly recommend it!

I have a coupon code for you to use with Mad Dash Mixes. Just use code “Charity10” to save 20% off your entire order! I am telling y’all once you try these mixes, you will be hooked like I am.

Somewhat to my surprise I realise I’ve never made a fruit cobbler! Crumble, pie, tart, cheesecake but never cobbler – this looks so yummy and relatively simple too, so I’ll have to put it on my list for all our summer fruit! Lisa

POV: You finally decide it’s time to tell your ado POV: You finally decide it’s time to tell your adopted daughter the truth about her biological mother… and she is NOT taking the news well. 😭🤣😹

Poor Riley! The look of absolute SHOCK on her face when she hears about her past! 🤣 I swear, the dramatic reactions of cats are just too funny sometimes!

But here’s a fun fact about our little rescue kitty! 🐈‍⬛ When we adopted Riley, my mom actually adopted her biological mama, Smoke! So technically, Riley’s mom lives with her grandma now. 🤣 Which means we can visit her anytime we want!

So don’t worry, Riley! We know exactly where you came from, and your mama is living her best life too! 😹❤️

Please tell me I’m not the only crazy cat mom who makes up dramatic storylines about her cats?! 🤣

Football season is officially here, which means I’m all about the game day snacks! 🙌🏻
And this easy Football Cheese Ball might just be the cutest addition to your next football party or tailgate! I’m partnering with @foodlion to create this simple, delicious football-shaped cheese ball using ingredients you can easily grab during your next grocery run.
It’s creamy, cheesy, loaded with ranch and bacon, and perfect for serving with crackers and pretzels. 😍 Here’s what you’ll need:
🏈 FOOTBALL CHEESE BALL:
• 16 oz cream cheese (2 8-oz blocks), softened
• 2 tbsp sour cream
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 oz ranch seasoning (1 packet)
• ¼ cup chopped green onions
• ½ cup chopped bacon or bacon bits
• 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
• 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
🏈 FOR THE COATING:
• ⅓ cup chopped pecans
• ½ cup chopped bacon
• 2 tbsp chopped green onions
• 2 slices white cheese for the football laces
Mix all of the cheese ball ingredients together in the bowl of a stand mixer until combined. Spray a little cooking oil on your hands and shape the mixture into a football. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. I made mine the night before so it was ready to go on game day! When you’re ready to serve, combine the pecans, bacon, and green onions in a shallow dish and roll the cheese ball in the mixture until completely coated. Cut thin strips from the white cheese to create the football laces, arrange everything on a serving tray with your favorite crackers and pretzels, and you have the CUTEST football party appetizer! 🏈🧀

One of my favorite things to do is simply stroll through the historic downtown streets and admire all the gorgeous homes and their festive fall decorations. 🧡

And honestly, fall is my FAVORITE time to visit Charleston, South Carolina! The weather is usually so much more enjoyable than the brutal summer heat. Although it was super rainy this weekend, I’ll take a little rain over that Southern heat and humidity ANY day! 🤣☔️

Little Miss Riley is VERY particular when it comes Little Miss Riley is VERY particular when it comes to cat toys. I can buy her the cutest toy ever and she’ll look at me like, “And what exactly am I supposed to do with this?” 🤣

But cat scratching pads?! Those are her absolute FAVORITE. She’s just about worn her old one out, so when I spotted this adorable Halloween cat scratching pad at Target, obviously I had to bring it home for her. 🎃

After a few very thorough sniffs, an inspection, and some test scratches… we officially have Riley’s approval! 👏🏻😹

Honestly, I’m just glad I managed to buy something that passed her incredibly strict quality-control standards. 😂

Anyone else have a super picky cat?! What’s the ONE toy or cat product they actually love?

Which is exactly why this pumpkin butter cake is one of my FAVORITE fall desserts. It’s fully baked, but the middle stays unbelievably soft, rich, and ooey gooey. 🙌🏻

You get a buttery yellow cake base topped with a creamy pumpkin layer that basically melts in your mouth. And add a big dollop of whipped cream on top?! CHEF’S KISS. 🤌🏻🎃

POV: you let your tuxedo cat snuggle on you while POV: you let your tuxedo cat snuggle on you while wearing a dark colored sweat set… rookie mistake. 😹

Consider this my official reminder to NEVER wear burgundy while cuddling Charlie again. 😂 One snuggle session later and my entire outfit is covered in black and white cat hair.

Tuxedo cat parents… PLEASE tell me I’m not the only one constantly covered in cat hair?! 👇🏻

POV: you’re overstimulated, exhausted, SUPER hangr POV: you’re overstimulated, exhausted, SUPER hangry… and then you drop your entire hot lunch on the kitchen floor 😩🤣

Because WHY do these things always happen when you’ve already hit your limit for the day?! Like that was quite literally my final straw 😂

And the best part? I had JUST cleaned the kitchen floors. Of course I did. 🙃 But at least this runner is vinyl so it’s easy to clean too thankfully!

Nothing humbles you quite like standing in your freshly cleaned kitchen, staring at the lunch you were so excited to eat… on the floor. 😂

Just one of those real-life moments where you have to laugh so you don’t cry and keep rolling with life’s punches.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has days where one tiny inconvenience feels like the absolute LAST STRAW?! 😩👇🏻

So basically, it’s a 2-for-1: you get an amazing smelling fall candle AND an adorable reusable pumpkin jar for your fall and Halloween decor. 🙌🏻

I love finding ways to reuse seasonal decor instead of putting it away or tossing it—and this amber pumpkin looks so cute filled with Halloween candy!
