March is Endometriosis Awareness Month… and if you March is Endometriosis Awareness Month… and if you’ve been following along lately, you know why I won’t stop talking about it.

This disease is honestly turning my life upside down right now. The pain, the fatigue, the constant fight to be taken seriously, it’s exhausting. But if sharing my story helps even one woman realize she’s not alone, it’s worth it.

When I saw this Endo Warrior sweatshirt, I knew I had to have it. Because every single woman fighting this disease is exactly that… a warrior. 💛

If you’re living with endometriosis, struggling to get a diagnosis, or supporting someone who is, this would make such a meaningful gift during Endometriosis Awareness Month.

Let’s keep spreading endometriosis awareness, sharing our stories, and demanding better research, better treatments, and better care for the 1 in 10 women living with this disease.

Because we deserve answers. And we deserve relief. 💛

Round 2 of the Holter heart monitor… let’s see if Round 2 of the Holter heart monitor… let’s see if this thing finally catches what’s been going on with my heart. 😅

If you’ve been following along with my little health mystery, you know I’ve been having some pretty scary episodes lately, heart racing, shakiness, and weird symptoms that no one can quite explain yet.

I actually wore a Holter monitor for two weeks back in August, but of course… absolutely nothing happened while I had it on. 🙃 Isn’t that always how it goes?!

So here we are again. Another monitor. Another attempt to catch whatever is going on.

I also had my echocardiogram this morning, so I’m really hoping between that and this monitor we might finally get some answers. Because if not… we’re basically back to square one. 😅

Trying to stay positive and trust the process though. I’ll definitely keep y’all updated as I go since so many of you have been following along and sharing your own experiences too. 🤍

And if you’ve ever had to wear a heart monitor or deal with unexplained heart symptoms, tell me your experience below!

Happy Friday, friends. ✨

Apparently my heart rate hitting 173 while I’m sit Apparently my heart rate hitting 173 while I’m sitting down is “fine.” 🙃

At this point I feel like I need a medical degree just to advocate for myself.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2020, but I’ve had severe shakiness since I was a teenager (they called it “benign essential tremor”). Lately it’s gotten worse, and now every episode comes with my heart rate skyrocketing.

173 bpm. Sitting down.
After metoprolol.
After electrolytes.

But sure… I’m “okay.”

I know POTS and endometriosis are often linked. My cardiologist thinks it’s “inappropriate sinus tachycardia.” I’m going in for an echocardiogram and another heart monitor Friday because the last one came back “inconclusive.”

When I called today to explain what happened? I was told to go to the ER.

I did that before. Got fluids. Got told I was fine. Got a $4,000 bill after insurance.

Women with chronic illness are so often dismissed, especially those of us with endometriosis, a disease that affects 1 in 10 women and is still wildly under-researched and underfunded.

I’m not asking for medical diagnoses. I’m asking:

Have you dealt with endometriosis + tachycardia?
POTS?
Inappropriate sinus tachycardia?
Nervous system dysfunction?

What finally helped you get answers?

Because I refuse to believe that “this is just anxiety” or “you’re fine” is the end of the story.

If you’ve been through something similar, please share your experience below. Let’s make this thread a resource for women who are tired of being dismissed. 🤍 #endometriosis #endometriosisawarenessmonth #pots #potssyndrome #womenshealthmatters

Happy March 1st, y’all 💛 March is Endometriosis A Happy March 1st, y’all 💛
March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and I’m using my platform to help spread awareness about this painful, underfunded, and often misunderstood disease.

So many women I talk to are struggling with endometriosis symptoms, even if they haven’t been officially diagnosed yet.

Here’s what you need to know about endometriosis:

• It affects 1 in 10 women and girls worldwide: nearly 190 million people.
• The average time to get an endometriosis diagnosis is 7–10 years after symptoms begin.
• For every diagnosis, only about $4.30 goes toward NIH research funding. It is drastically under-researched and underfunded. And it is NOT “just bad cramps.”

Common symptoms of endometriosis include:
• severe period pain
• chronic pelvic pain
• painful ovulation
• heavy periods
• infertility
• digestive issues and bloating
• extreme fatigue
• pain during intercourse

There is currently no cure for endometriosis, only symptom management through medication, hormone therapy, or excision surgery.

Up to 30–50% of women facing infertility may have endometriosis.

It’s also considered an invisible illness, meaning many women look “fine” while battling daily pain internally.

A hysterectomy is NOT guaranteed to cure endometriosis.

This is heavy.
And it’s hard to live with endometriosis every single day. It affects my everyday life more than most people realize. And sometimes, I feel incredibly alone in it.

So if your pain is disrupting your daily life, please don’t ignore it. Let’s use Endometriosis Awareness Month to push for more research, more funding, earlier diagnosis, and better care for women everywhere.

Save this. Share this. Talk about this.
Awareness leads to change. 💛 #endometriosis #endometriosisawareness #endometriosisawarenessmonth #womenshealth #womenshealthmatters

Tips on How to Keep Your Home Cozy After Christmas

If you’re wondering if you can still have a cozy home after all the Christmas decor is down, then the answer is yes! I have outlined a few tips on how to keep your home cozy after Christmas.

You can use these ideas if you’re still craving the cozy glow feeling of Christmas. The Christmas tree may be put up, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice that feeling!

Learn how to make your home cozy and implement it all year round! Especially during these harsh Winter months!

How to Keep Your Home Cozy After Christmas

Keep your Greenery and Plain Trees Out as Winter Decor

One of my biggest tips for how to keep your home cozy after Christmas is to keep out your plain trees and greenery. I still have a lot of my plain bottle brush trees out and I think they look perfect for Winter.

I didn’t want to jump straight into Spring decor, so I think having a lot of deep greens out around the house makes it feel more cozy while still keeping in touch with the season.

Using pine or evergreen needles are a great way to do this as well. You can display them in a jar or a vase or anything simple, the possibilities are endless!

I am also leaving my pine garland in my dough bowl out a little longer too. I think it’s the perfect step before getting into Valentine’s or Spring decor.

Plain Trees For Winter Decor
As you can see I left my favorite bottle brush trees up on my shelves to enjoy a little longer throughout the winter season!

Use a lot of Texture

I like to add texture in mainly by using pillows and blankets. I love a good cable knit throw and decorative pillow.

You can also use faux furs to make everything feel more warm and cozy inside too. Another thing I like to do is to add a basket with a wicker or seagrass texture to place all my extra pillows and blankets inside of in the living room.

That way you can just grab a blanket whenever you need that extra warmth and it keeps things nice and tidy when you are not using them.

I always love to grab a few textured blankets from TJ Maxx or Homegoods. Especially after Christmas when they have some pretty good sales going on!

Textured Reading Nook
Love all the texture here in this reading nook. From the cable knit blanket, leather chair, and wicker basket, there is plenty to choose from!

Also, my office rug has a lot of texture here as well. You can always use rugs for some added texture in rooms too. Especially if you want to layer them together.

Having a rug in a room that has all wooden floors really helps to warm and cozy up the room!

Use Warm Wood Tones

We have a lot of white and light gray colors in our home so I love to use wooden tones to balance it out.

Having a wooden piece of furniture against a white shiplap wall really pops and it also makes it feel more cozy and homey inside.

It’s also another good texture to use around the home. I love the contrast it gives and it’s so easy to do just by adding a simple wooden bowl or tray to any room in your home.

Warm Wood Tones
I love all the wooden tones of the antique rolling pins against the bright white subway tile.
Warm Wood Tones in Living Room
Wood Toned Coffee Table
Here you can see how I use a lot of warm wood tones in my living room.

Find Ways to Use Cozy Lights

Whether they are string lights or a lamp, find a way to use something other than just regular overhead lighting.

Just having that lighting alone can feel too much and I like to have a soft glow from another light source instead when I am at home relaxing.

I love to have the glow of a candle burning too.

Antique Candle Co in Office
Here is one of my favorite candles from Antique Candle Co!

Not only does it make your space smell great, but it makes it look more cozy too! My favorite candle to have burning are my Antique Candle co candles. Click here to learn more about those if you’re interested!

I have also used string lights in lanterns or even in my centerpiece in my dining room to help keep a cozy glow in the house all year round.

Cozy Lights
Not only is the light from the fire super cozy, but so are the string lights I added around the candle in the lantern.

I hope these simple tips on how to keep your home cozy after Christmas have inspired you and I hope you are able to make your home feel more cozy after reading this.

There’s nothing better than coming home from a hard days work to a nice, comforting and cozy home! Let me know if you try out any of these ideas, or if you have an idea that I didn’t mention above.

I would love to hear them and I hope you all have a cozy day my friends!

Cozy is SO important this time of year. I love curling up under comfy blankets in front of our fireplace and watching the snowfall outside. We haven’t taken our tree down yet, so I will relax by tree light. That being said, I think I need to incorporate some fairy lights into our living room if I love that ambiance so much!

POV: you’re a former street cat experiencing snow POV: you’re a former street cat experiencing snow for the first time… and trying to play it cool 😹❄️

Little Miss Charlie swore she was tough, rolling around in the snow like she owns the place 😂 She did low-key love it though… rolling, flopping, living her best winter queen life.

And then 2 minutes later?
Back inside.
By the fireplace.
Where the real luxury lives. 🔥😌

From scrappy outdoor stray to spoiled indoor princess… the character development is unreal. I fear she’s officially lost her street cred. But that’s okay because we love her so much and happy she’s safe inside with us! 😻
Weekend getaway idea: Downtown Brevard, North Caro Weekend getaway idea: Downtown Brevard, North Carolina might be the cutest small town in the mountains and I can’t believe it took me this long to explore it! 🤍

A couple of weeks ago, we spent the day in downtown Brevard and instantly fell in love. Think charming antique stores, cozy coffee shops, local bookstores, amazing restaurants, and the kind of walkable Main Street that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. If you’re planning a trip to Brevard, NC, especially if you’re visiting near Asheville or the Blue Ridge Mountains, this little mountain town absolutely needs to be on your list.

I put together a full blog post with all the best things to do in Brevard, NC (where to eat, shop, and explore), so you can plan the perfect weekend getaway.

POV: You’re not sad… POV: It’s 30 degrees and sno POV: You’re not sad…

POV: It’s 30 degrees and snowing… but I’m mentally at the beach with 80-degree weather, a fresh tan, my toes in the water, and Morgan Wallen turned ALL the way up. 🌊☀️

Tell me I’m not the only one who thinks sunshine + country music + salty air is actual therapy?! Give me a beach chair, a good summer read, and a speaker blasting my favorite Morgan Wallen songs and I’m instantly fixed. 😂

We had a little taste of spring this weekend (it hit 70 degrees and felt amazing), and now we’re right back to freezing temps and snow. So if you need me, I’ll just be over here manifesting summer vacation, beach days, and warm weather vibes.

Anyone else already dreaming about their next beach trip? 🏖️✨ #morganwallen #beachvacay #beachsunset #sunsetvibes #vacationvibes

You know you’ve officially entered ✨prime adulthoo You know you’ve officially entered ✨prime adulthood✨ when renting a dumpster feels like a THRILL. 🤣

Nothing, and I mean nothing, hits quite like tossing years of random junk into a giant metal box and watching the clutter disappear. Our garage and basement were crying for help, and this purge just gave us the ultimate clean-slate reset. 🙌🏼

Tell me I’m not the only one who gets this excited over a dumpster rental… because this might be my favorite era yet. 😜

If you think you’re “late” taking down your Christ If you think you’re “late” taking down your Christmas decor… just know I still have fall decor on my back porch 😅🍂

Yes. In February.

In my defense, it’s been a freezing winter, I ran out of storage bins while packing up my fall decorations, and once it got cold? I simply ✨chose peace✨ instead of porch cleanup 😂

But with the warmer weather finally rolling in, it’s officially time for a spring porch refresh! 🌸🌿 Goodbye pumpkins, hello spring decor, outdoor living, and fresh seasonal styling.

Anyone else still transitioning their seasonal home decor, or am I alone in my fall-to-spring glow up? 😜 #seasonaldecor #relatablereels #dontjudgeme #springdecor #porchdecor
If you’re a fellow cat mom, then you know that dec If you’re a fellow cat mom, then you know that decorating with pets requires a little extra patience! I was so excited to roll out this new area rug and give our space a fresh look, but of course Toby had to inspect (and claim) it first. 😂

Thankfully, he fully approves of this comfy and pretty rug, and honestly, it makes the perfect cozy addition to our living room decor. If you’re looking for pet-friendly home decor ideas, especially durable rugs for homes with cats, this is your sign that it can be done!

Tell me, do your pets “approve” every new piece of furniture too? 🐱✨ #catmomproblems #catmomprobs #funnycatvideos #funnycatreels #catmomlife
