Well happy Wednesday friends!! One of my favorite days of the week since it is time for our Whimsy Home Wednesday link party again! I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is so close! Which is why our theme is Whimsical Thanksgiving Home this week!
We are literally just a little over a week away from it, and time needs to slow down! I have been trying to prep ahead of time and make a few desserts that I can go ahead and freeze.
Anything that I can do to save me time on actual Thanksgiving, is a plus to me! Do you host too? Or do you travel for the holidays? Either way is stressful, and I try to make it as easy as possible!
Welcome to the Whimsy Home Wednesday Linky Party. Today the hosts and I are sharing a few of our favorite projects we have done plus the FIVE featured posts from Whimsy Home Wednesday 03. We cannot wait to be inspired by what you link up in Whimsy Home Wednesday 04! As I mentioned above, I like to make hosting for the holidays as easy as possible. Which is why I shared my delicious cranberry bliss bars recipe on the blog this past week.
The good news is that you can freeze them ahead of time. And when you’re ready to actually eat them, just thaw them out the night before. Easy peesy!

I am loving Kristin’s thrifty, thankful tablescape she created! I absolutely love the color scheme to it and the fact that she found most of the supplies from discount stores and thrift stores to keep it budget friendly!

Be sure to check out Cara’s tutorial on how to make Thanksgiving coasters. They turned out so cute and I love the little turkey on them. Perfect for a Whimsical Thanksgiving Home place setting on the table!

I also loved how Meredith repurposed these wine bottles and turned them into the perfect holiday craft! The chalkboard look to them is so perfect and can go with any decor style! Definitely check this out if you’re looking for some good DIY decor ideas this season!

And I’m obsessed with Becky’s monogramed flour sack towel. It’s so classy and pretty and would make for a perfect Christmas gift. Especially if you like to go more of the homemade route for Christmas. This DIY would be absolutely perfect!
Whimsical Home Projects From Our Features
Congratulations to our featured posts of Whimsy Home Wednesday! All the posts were beautiful, full of great ideas, and we are so thankful to everyone who shared! This is why it was so difficult to pick just five Whimsical Home features.
These are our featured posts! They will each receive a featured button to share on their blog and be added to the Whimsy Home Wednesday Pinterest boards!
An Organized Season
I absolutely loved Donna’s tutorial on how to create a Simple Pottery Barn Rustic Bell Hack. This is such a great way to get that Pottery Barn look without the price. And they are just perfect for Christmas!
The House on Silverado
Becky’s choice this week was another delicious recipe that could easily be used for Thanksgiving as well. Check out Niky’s recipe for Ginger Banana Bread. Now, I love me some banana bread, but I haven’t ever thought to add ginger in it!
I will definitely have to try this recipe out and y’all should too! It looks so yummy and delicious as well!
This Dear Casa
Cara’s choice to feature this week was how to create a dried lavender sachet from This Dear Casa. I love this easy and simple DIY idea. Plus I love the smell of lavender too! It would be so perfect to place anywhere in your home!
Meredith’s choice this week was to also feature Marie’s tutorial on 2 different ways to make a eucalyptus wreath from This Dear Casa. I love her steeply step instructions and the fact that she has two different options is so fun too! If this doesn’t scream a whimsical Thanksgiving home, I don’t know what does!
Fresh Vintage by Lisa S
I actually almost chose this feature that Kristin decided on this week as well! I absolutely love Lisa’s way of creating a daily planner from an old book! And the fact that she used a Nancy Drew book as well was right up my alley! I used to love me some Nancy Drew books back in the day!
