Why do husbands suddenly develop selective vision Why do husbands suddenly develop selective vision when they get married?! 😂

Anyone else’s hubby like this?! Because explain to me how this man can spot a golf ball from 100+ yards away… but somehow can’t find the ketchup when it’s literally RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE in the fridge. 🤣

Apparently, he has 4K vision for golf and absolutely ZERO vision for anything I ask him to find. 😂

I guess when it comes to golf, he really knows how to lock in… but when it comes to finding something in the refrigerator? Suddenly he’s legally blind. 💀

Husband humor + marriage humor is truly unmatched. 😂 Tell me I’m not the only one married to a man with selective blindness! 👀

I like to tell myself that baking is therapeutic for me, and sometimes it really is! But other times, I’m already in the middle of 17 things and somehow decide that this is the perfect moment to make a homemade dessert from scratch. 😂

Like… am I stress baking or just creating additional stress for myself?! 😜

But honestly, I really do love baking. There’s just something about measuring ingredients, mixing everything together, and ending up with something delicious that makes all the chaos feel worth it. 🤎

My Honest Review of Fusion Mineral Paint

I recently gifted a set of fusion mineral paint from a giveaway that I won off of Instagram and I was so excited to try it out see what I thought about it because I have heard so many great reviews of fusion mineral paint. The internet seems to be raving about it and I was wondering if it held up to all of the hype.

I have only really used chalk paint before and I was also wondering what are the big differences between the two different paints, and if I would like fusion mineral paint as much as I like chalk paint too. Well friends, the verdict is in and I can’t wait to share my honest review of fusion mineral paint with you! Keep on reading below to see just what I thought about it!

My Honest Review Of Fusion Mineral Paint
These are all the beautiful colors I was gifted with- Raw Silk, Sacred Sage, Bayberry, Lichen, and Homestead Blue. I can’t wait to try all the colors out.

What Is Fusion Mineral Paint?

First of all, I thought I would go over what exactly Fusion Mineral Paint is in case you have never heard of it before.

Each pot of paint is hand poured in North America and it is a family owned business. They spent 10 years in research and development coming up with the perfect paint formula.

Fusion mineral paint has a built in top coat, no VOC (volatile organic compound), and it is virtually odorless. It has a smooth, self leveling application and it is made 100% from acrylic paint with no filters and it is non-toxic and lead free.

Fusion mineral paint also has incredible coverage, about 75 square foot per pint! You can read even more about this awesome company and their amazing products here.

My Honest Review

After looking at all the information above, fusion mineral paint seems to be pretty promising. But did I agree with all the claims above?

The answer is- YES! I thought fusion mineral paint was amazing and I really enjoyed painting with it. I used a small sample sized pot on a very large mirror so I was super impressed that it was enough paint.

If you remember from one of my previous post (The Best Places to Antique Hunt Near Pigeon Forge), that is where I got the mirror from.

I will also share another picture of it below so you can see the size as well. The sample sizes of paint are only 1.25 fluid ounces, so I thought for sure I would have to get some more, but the coverage really is excellent.

Fusion Mineral Paintbrush
They also make the best paintbrushes too!

It also went on very smoothly and it was not hard to paint with at all. When using chalk paint, you notice it doesn’t cover as well and it also leaves behind little lines here and there.

Which if you are a perfectionist like me, it will kinda drive you crazy! Fusion mineral paint does not and I believe all of the claims above about it are true.

I also love how you don’t have to add a top coat either and that it is already waterproof. Every time I used chalk paint in the past, I had to apply a sealer after painting.

So it was nice to skip this step and not have to do it. Overall, I am super impressed with this product and I may be switching over to using more fusion mineral paint rather than chalk paint now.

And here is the mirror after I painted it with just the sample sized pot. Incredible coverage for sure!

My Top 5 Favorite Things About Fusion Mineral Paint

In case you just want the highlights of why I love fusion mineral paint, here is a brief review of my top 5 favorite things about it from everything I mentioned above:

  1. The paint has a washable matte finish.
  2. Exceptional adhesion and durability.
  3. This paint is perfect for furniture, whether you are using it inside or out!
  4. No long re-coat time. Paint is dry to touch after just 30 minutes and ready for another coat in just 1-2 hours!
  5. No top coat/sealer required!
My Honest Review of Fusion Mineral Paint
Pin for later!

I will share another blog post soon that goes more into depth on how I transformed and painted that mirror and everything else I used for that process.

It turned out so well and I can’t wait to share with you guys! I hope you all enjoyed my honest review of fusion mineral paint and I would love to know if you guys have ever tried painting with it before too?

Let me know and tell me how your experience was with it as well!

I love it. It’s a great way to redo tired old mirrors through but I’m a bit confused as to why you’d paint what looks like it could be a gilt gold mirror white (not that most of them are hugely valuable maybe £20-40 unless big/ pretty ornate/ round).

Yes I know what you mean. Chalk paint has a thicker texture to it. I have used a sealer on things I have chalk painted before and that helped the feeling, but as far as this fusion mineral paint goes, I do not think it has a similar feeling to it. It definitely feels much smoother to me than chalk paint. I hope that helps!

POV: You’re overwhelmed, so naturally you decide t POV: You’re overwhelmed, so naturally you decide to bake something completely from scratch… because adding more work to your plate seems like a GREAT idea. 🤣🍰

Please tell me I’m not the only one who uses baking as therapy and then immediately regrets how much work I just created for myself. 😂👇

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I’ve been dealing with hair loss and I’m currently using minoxidil to help with it. The only downside? It also makes the peach fuzz on my face grow way more intensely and way more quickly… which basically means I’ve been growing myself a little peach fuzz beard. 🤣

Enter my new @michaeltoddbeauty dermaplaning tool! 🙌🏼✨ This at-home dermaplaning tool has seriously been a lifesaver for removing facial hair and peach fuzz. It’s super convenient and easy to use, and I LOVE the spray because it makes every single little hair so much easier to see.

And the best part? My skin feels so much smoother and softer afterward and my makeup goes on beautifully! 😍

If you’re planning your Halloween decor or already If you’re planning your Halloween decor or already decorating for fall 2026, don’t wait on these viral brown clay jack-o’-lanterns! Every year they disappear long before October, so now is the best time to grab them before they’re gone again.

One of my favorite ways to style them is by placing a battery-operated LED candle underneath to create the prettiest spooky glow on the front porch. They’re the perfect mix of cozy fall decor and spooky Halloween vibes. 🕯️🎃

Little Miss Charlie apparently has some VERY stron Little Miss Charlie apparently has some VERY strong opinions about my new fall florals on the coffee table because she has made it her daily mission to swat at them, bite them, and generally try to destroy them every chance she gets. And since it’s also international cat day, I figured it was the perfect moment to share her shenanigans 😂

I guess she definitely did NOT take after her mama when it comes to loving fall decorating! 🎃🍁 I’m trying to create a cozy fall home and Charlie is over here like, “Absolutely not.” 🤣

Honestly, I have to respect the confidence. At least she’s honest about her feelings! 😂

If you’re looking for easy fall coffee table decor If you’re looking for easy fall coffee table decor ideas, here’s one simple swap that completely transformed my living room for the season! 🍂🤎

I’ve been working on styling my fall coffee table centerpiece, but something just felt off. The bright greenery mixed with my fall decor wasn’t giving the cozy autumn vibe I was going for.

Then I spotted these adorable fall leaf bud vases from Target’s Hearth & Hand collection, and I knew they were exactly what my centerpiece needed. Swapping out the greenery for these warm autumn leaves made such a huge difference, and now my coffee table finally feels cozy and fall-ready!

Sometimes it’s the smallest decorating changes that make the biggest impact. 🍁
