From the beautiful venue to the amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere, everything about this night was incredible! And getting to meet @relationshep and @salleycarson from Bravo’s Southern Charm was just the cherry on top! 🍒

Y’all already know how obsessed I am with Charleston and Southern Charm, so this event was basically MADE for me! 🤣 Plus, any excuse to get all dressed up, feel fancy, and enjoy a night out for a great cause? Count me in! 🥂

And the best part was knowing that all the fun was supporting the @isftorch and its mission to help children battling rare pediatric cancers. 💛

At this point, I’ve pretty much met the entire Southern Charm cast except Austen and Madison! So if y’all are reading this, I guess you’re next on my list! 🤣👏🏻

Now I need to know… are you a Southern Charm fan too?! And if so, who’s your favorite cast member?! 👀

Sorry, but some of us have approximately 57 Christmas trees to put up, and that kind of commitment takes TIME. 😜🎄

And if you think I’m waiting until Halloween is over to start decorating for Christmas, you’ve got another thing coming. 🤣 I may or may not already have a few trees up around the house. 🤫

Listen, I love spooky season just as much as the next person, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having pumpkins AND Christmas trees out at the same time. It’s called balance, okay?! 👻🎄

So consider waiting until November to decorate for Christmas officially GHOSTED. ✌🏻

Now tell me, are you team Christmas decorating in October or team wait until after Thanksgiving?! 👀
Bless my poor husband’s heart because when he marr Bless my poor husband’s heart because when he married me, I don’t think he realized he was signing up for a lifetime of Christmas decorating chaos! 😂

But when you’re a Christmas-obsessed wife who believes EVERY single room in the house deserves its own Christmas tree, you have to start decorating early, right?! 🎅🏻

I mean, putting up multiple Christmas trees, hanging garland, and transforming our entire home into a cozy Christmas wonderland takes TIME! So obviously, October is a perfectly reasonable time to start decorating for Christmas. At least that’s what I keep telling him! 😜

Thankfully, after 10 years of marriage, he knows the drill and just goes along with all my crazy Christmas decorating ideas. He’s a keeper for sure! ❤️

#ad 🎃🐈‍⬛ Don’t throw away that empty cat litter ju #ad 🎃🐈‍⬛ Don’t throw away that empty cat litter jug… turn it into a Halloween boo basket for your cats instead! I’m partnering with @catspride today to put an empty Cat’s Pride litter jug to good use with the cutest little upcycling project. Since the jug was already the perfect Frankenstein green, I knew exactly what I wanted to make! 💚 After cleaning the empty jug thoroughly, we cut off the top to create a basket shape. Then I used my Cricut to add a Frankenstein face before filling it with some of Riley and Toby’s favorite cat treats and Halloween toys. And judging by Toby’s reaction to that catnip owl, I’d say this DIY cat boo basket was a success. 😹 And before the jug was transformed, Cat’s Pride made litter box duty a whole lot easier. I love the odor control and easy scooping, and Riley and Toby are always VERY interested when a fresh box of litter appears. 😂 So consider this your sign to save your next empty litter jug and get creative with it! And when it’s time to stock up on fresh litter, check out Cat’s Pride for your own feline crew. 🐾 Would you make a Halloween boo basket for your cats?! 🎃👇🏻

POV: You finally decide it’s time to tell your ado POV: You finally decide it’s time to tell your adopted daughter the truth about her biological mother… and she is NOT taking the news well. 😭🤣😹

Poor Riley! The look of absolute SHOCK on her face when she hears about her past! 🤣 I swear, the dramatic reactions of cats are just too funny sometimes!

But here’s a fun fact about our little rescue kitty! 🐈‍⬛ When we adopted Riley, my mom actually adopted her biological mama, Smoke! So technically, Riley’s mom lives with her grandma now. 🤣 Which means we can visit her anytime we want!

So don’t worry, Riley! We know exactly where you came from, and your mama is living her best life too! 😹❤️

Please tell me I’m not the only crazy cat mom who makes up dramatic storylines about her cats?! 🤣

How to Make Mummy Dogs

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

With Halloween fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to share with you all this easy, mummy dogs crescent roll recipe! It’s not only so much fun to make, but delicious as well. And, it is the perfect snack and/or appetizer for Halloween too!

You only need a handful of ingredients to get started and it doesn’t take long to cook at all either. Which is another bonus! So if you’re looking for a quick and easy Halloween recipe idea, this is it!

This post is sponsored by State Fair Corn Dogs. But all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Finished Mummy Dogs

Ingredients Needed for Mummy Dogs:

  • State Fair Corn Dogs
  • Crescent Dough
  • Candy Eye Sprinkles
  • Mustard
Ingredients Needed for Mummy Dogs

Not only are these State Fair Corn Dogs delicious by themselves, but when you add in the crescent dough with them, they turn out to be even better!

Corn Dogs

And another great thing about them is that they come individually wrapped too. So you don’t have to make them all at once. You can make just as many as you need to and save the rest for later!

Individually Wrapped Corn Dogs

You can also find these yummy corn dogs at your local Walmart too! As you can see below, my hubby was thrilled to go shopping with me to get them!

Husband Shopping at Walmart

How to Cook the Mummy Dogs

I basically just followed the package’s directions, but I took them out halfway to add the crescent dough onto them. So I placed them in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes first and then took them out to do that.

Cooking Corn Dogs

To make the mummy dogs, I simply just flattened out the crescent roll dough first onto a cutting board.

Making the Mummy Dogs

Then, I used a knife and cut them into little strips. This is what I used to wrap around the corn dog after taking them out of the oven.

Crescent Dough for Mummy Dogs

I just wrapped a few strips here and there around the corn dog until I thought it had more of a mummy look to it. There was really no rhyme or reason here. I just went for it!

Cooking the Mummy Dogs

I also left a little space around the top of the corn dog. That’s where the candy eyeball sprinkles will go so be sure not to wrap them fully around the corn dog.

Eat and Enjoy!

Once you wrapped them with the crescent roll dough, place them back into the oven for 10-12 more minutes. Or until the dough is a nice and golden brown.

Halloween Mummy Dogs

I let them cool for a few minutes before adding in the eyes. To attach the eyes, I just added a drop of mustard to the back of them and then placed it on the corn dog. The mustard was essentially acting like glue for the eyeballs here.

Crescent Mummy Dogs

Now you can eat and enjoy them! I always serve them with a big side of mustard because I love to dip my corn dogs in mustard too!

Me With Mummy Dogs

Aren’t they just too cute and adorable? And they taste amazing too! So be sure to try them out this Halloween and let me know how they work for you too!

Pilsbury Mummy Dogs

I’m sure kids would absolutely go nuts over this fun and festive snack as well. Like I said above, it’s perfect for a Halloween party. Or even just a fun night in.

We had the BEST time this weekend at the Carolina We had the BEST time this weekend at the Carolina Charm event at @therevelry_clt benefiting the Isabella Santos Foundation! 💕

Things we’re ghosting this season: waiting until N Things we’re ghosting this season: waiting until November 1st to decorate for Christmas. 🤣

Now PLEASE tell me I’m not the only one who starts decorating for Christmas in October?! 🎄🤣 And how many Christmas trees do you put up in your house?!
