DIY Valentine’s Day Crafts
You don’t have to be super crafty to enjoy some fun DIY Valentines Day ideas. And one of my favorites is this super easy DIY Valentine’s Day Wreaths! All you need for this easy craft is some wired twine, wood beads, and ribbon. All of which you can easily find at your local craft store! Hang it up anywhere in your home that needs a personal touch of love!
Another great Valentine’s Day craft idea is to make this easy and simple paper heart banner. It gives you just the right amount of neutral valentines day decor, without being too overbearing. Plus, you can hang it anywhere in your home.
I made mine out of stained book pages, but you could make it even easier and just make the paper hearts out of construction paper or decorative paper. This banner would also look great hanging across a fireplace mantel too! So many fun possibilities when it comes to styling these simple Valentine’s Day crafts!
This next fun Valentine’s Day craft is one of my very first seasonal crafts that I ever did! I remember finding a plain ol gum ball machine in the Target dollar spot, and wanting to fix it up and give it some more Valentine’s Day flair.
This caused me to create this DIY Gum Ball Machine Refresh post! Using just a little spray pain and the traditional conversation hearts, you have a perfect Valentine’s Day gum ball machine that looks so cute anywhere in your home!
If you’re looking for other simple ideas, you could always make your own handmade Valentine’s Day cards too. I also love to display vintage Valentine’s Day cards using a ribbon and some paper clips.
Very similar to how I display my vintage Christmas cards at Christmas time too! This is such a great way to display small trinkets like cards!

Also, if you want help styling a table for Valentine’s Day, I have plenty to say on this subject! I create a vintage Valentines tablescape every year, and every single year I love it more and more.
You can’t go wrong with vintage pink depression glass and antique brass candlesticks. It’s a lovely combo in my opinion!

And it can be as simple as just placing a heart-shaped cookie cutter out on a tray in your kitchen! Nothing too hard or too fancy to do!
DIY Valentines Day Recipes
If you love cooking and like seasonal recipes, then I have a few valentines day recipes to share with you all today as well. You know I am a huge coffee lover, so I had to include a seasonal latte recipe of course!
I made this pink velvet latte last year and it was a huge hit! The subtle pink color and the yummy coffee flavor really come together to create a delicious beverage.
The heart shape sprinkles on top of the whipped cream really give it a Valentine’s Day effect too! This is a great way to celebrate the day for a coffee lover like myself!
Another fun idea is to make your own chocolate covered strawberries as well! If you have a family member who loves a sweet treat, this would make for a perfect Valentines Day gift.
I personally think food items like this make for perfect homemade valentine’s day gifts too.
I love being able to dip the strawberries in pink candy melts. If you didn’t know, pink is one of my favorite colors and it is so fun to make these themed strawberries using it! You can also use different colors like red for this too!
And if you want to spend some quality time with your true love this Valentine’s Day, why not have a special date night at home?! We always love to celebrate this way instead of going out.
If you want to avoid the crowds too, why not make your own seared filet mignon at home together?
It’s the perfect way to celebrate, while avoiding the crowds and the stress of trying to go out. Especially when Valentine’s Day falls on a weeknight!
I think a perfect Valentine’s gift idea is just to spend the day together and enjoy each other’s company. And cooking dinner together is a great option for experiencing that!
Another fun idea is to make a Valentine’s Day charcuterie board filled with all your favorite yummy treats! I love a good charcuterie board because you can put all your fun and creative ideas to good use.
Put whatever on the board that makes you happy! And, this would be such a fun option for kids to help you with too!
