Can you believe we’re only 6 weeks away from the ’ Can you believe we’re only 6 weeks away from the ’ber months?! 🍂 September, October, November, and December are hands-down my favorite time of year!

Don’t get me wrong, I love summer… but I wouldn’t complain if it was about 15 degrees cooler instead of feeling like we’re melting every day. 😂

I’m so ready for crisp fall mornings, cozy evenings, pumpkin everything, fall baking, candlelight, sweaters, and all the cozy autumn vibes. There’s just something magical about this season that makes home feel even cozier.

Who’s already counting down to fall 2026 with me? 🍁👇 Are you team summer or team ’ber months?

Before I can even think about swimsuits and cute o Before I can even think about swimsuits and cute outfits, I have to make sure every medication, supplement, electrolyte packet, and “just in case” item makes it into my bag. Then I mentally go through my checklist about 50 times before we leave because forgetting one thing could completely change the trip.

Traveling with a chronic illness definitely takes a little more planning, but it’s worth it to make the memories. 💛

Now if only I could get a vacation from all the vacation packing. 😂

Styling a decorative tray for fall doesn’t have to Styling a decorative tray for fall doesn’t have to be complicated. 🍂🕯️

One of my favorite fall decorating tips is to simply shop my own home first! I gather a few cozy pieces I already own, add a small pumpkin or seasonal accent, and always finish the look with one (or two 😉) Antique Candle Co. candles. Nothing makes a home feel more like cozy fall decor than the warm glow of candlelight and the scent of crisp autumn mornings.

If you’ve been looking for easy fall tray styling ideas or simple ways to make your home feel warm and inviting, this is such an effortless place to start. You don’t have to spend a fortune to create a beautiful, cozy space.

🍁 Antique Candle Co.‘s new fall candle testers are available now, so it’s the perfect way to discover your favorite fall scents before committing to a full-size candle!

Comment “CANDLES” below and I’ll send you the link! 🧡 And you better hurry, you only have until July 28th to get these fall candle testers ordered and then they are gone forever!

Some updates are harder to share than others. ❤️ Some updates are harder to share than others. ❤️

I’ve gone back and forth about posting this because I never want this page to become all about my health. I love sharing recipes, DIYs, home projects, gardening, and all the things that bring me joy. But I also want this space to be real, and right now, this is part of my reality.

I share more in the carousel, but after meeting with my primary care provider last week, I’ll now be having MRIs of both my brain and my spine/back to hopefully get closer to some answers. While Chiari malformation is still a possibility, my doctor also wants to rule out other neurological conditions, like Multiple Sclerosis. Hearing that was incredibly overwhelming, and if I’m being honest, this past week has been one of the hardest mentally.

The waiting is exhausting. Waiting for appointments, waiting for tests, waiting for results… it feels like my life has been on pause while I wait to find out what’s causing all of these symptoms.

I also wanted to remind everyone that social media is often a highlight reel. Most of the content you see from me was planned and scheduled on days when I felt well enough to create. What you don’t see are the tears, the fear, the doctor’s appointments, the nights spent worrying, or the mental toll that comes with living in the unknown.

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this post, it’s this: please be kind. You never truly know what someone is carrying behind the scenes. Invisible illnesses are just that- invisible.

And if you’re walking through your own health journey right now, I want you to know you’re not alone. This community has been such a source of comfort for me, and I’m so thankful for every message, prayer, and encouraging word you’ve sent my way. They truly mean more than you know. ❤️

If you pray, I’d really appreciate your prayers as I move through this next round of testing. I’m holding onto hope that we’ll finally get some answers. 🤍

Y’all… I need some advice. 😅 Has anyone ever had t Y’all… I need some advice. 😅 Has anyone ever had their pinky toenail almost completely fall off for absolutely no reason?

Mine is literally hanging on by one tiny corner (like 90% detached 🤢), and I can’t decide if I should just pull it off or leave it alone. The problem is it hurts every time I put on socks or shoes because it keeps catching and tugging. 😩

This actually happened to me years ago after wearing cowboy booties in Nashville that rubbed my pinky toes raw, and I ended up losing both pinky toenails. They eventually grew back completely normal, so I’m so confused why it’s happening again.

I haven’t stubbed my toe, I haven’t had a pedicure in over 6 weeks, and I’ve mostly been living in sandals all summer with my usual tennis shoes. So what in the world would make a toenail suddenly start falling off? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Should I just go ahead and pull it off since it’s barely attached, or leave it alone and let it come off on its own? Tell me what you would do because I’m officially accepting all the toenail advice I can get. 😂

And at this point, I guess my body has decided to rebel from the top of my head all the way down to my toenails. 🫠🤣 #toes #toenails #pinkytoe #pinkytoes #toenail

I’ve also read that women with endometriosis may experience symptoms associated with perimenopause earlier than average, and honestly… as if endometriosis hasn’t put us through enough already. 😅

At this point, I’m about ready to start a Late Night Book Club for all the insomnia and perimenopause girlies because apparently none of us are sleeping anyway. 📚☕️😂

One thing people don’t talk about enough is how ch One thing people don’t talk about enough is how chronic illness doesn’t just affect the person who’s diagnosed, it changes the lives of the people who love them, too. ❤️

Living with an invisible illness can feel incredibly isolating, but having a supportive spouse has made all the difference in my journey. Through countless doctor appointments, unanswered questions, difficult days, and moments when I’ve felt like giving up, my husband has been my biggest advocate, my safe place, and my constant source of strength.

I know not everyone has that kind of support, and my heart truly goes out to anyone navigating chronic illness on their own. No one should have to carry that weight by themselves.

To every caregiver, spouse, partner, family member, or friend who continues to show up with patience, compassion, and love; you matter more than you know. Thank you for making the hard days a little easier. 🤍

Fall Home Tour

Since fall is officially creeping up on us, I thought it would be fun to show you all a complete fall home tour. I love to style my home for every season and I think fall and Christmas are my top two!

So if you’re looking for ideas and inspiration on how to style your home for fall, check this post out and let me know what you think!

Fall Centerpiece in Living Room
Here’s a glimpse into my fall living room!

Living Room

The first space I thought I would share with you all in my fall home tour is my living room. It just makes sense to start here since it is the very first room you see when you walk into my house!

I tried to make it feel super cozy and welcoming by adding in warm fall touches this year.

Easy Fall Centerpiece
Here’s a close up view of my fall centerpiece.

Remember my easy fall centerpiece I shared with you all a few weeks ago? I have it sitting here front and center in the middle of my coffee table in the living room.

It definitely is the perfect pop of fall color for this space. I love the warmth that the amber jars add to the room as well.

Fall Living Room Shelves
Close up view of my fall open shelves in the living room.

For my open shelves in the living room, I kept everything mostly the same. I just added a few touches of fall here and there.

That adorable plaid pumpkin and hello fall sign are Kirkland’s finds from last year.

Pumpkin Patch Scroll
Such an adorable scroll!

When I saw this scroll, I knew I needed to have it. I got this from Cottonwood Shanty and she makes the cutest scrolls. Whether you want a seasonal one, or an everyday one, she has you covered!

They also come in two different sizes and the one I got is the mini size. But it is so perfect for this space. I have it hanging right beside my front door.

Dried Hydrangeas

Of course you can’t forget about my dried hydrangea stems! I placed them in my vases on my antique railroad cart. I also keep my magazines stored in this vintage 7 Up crate too.

It’s such a great spot to sit with a cup of coffee and enjoy a good read!

Close Up of Fall Wreath
Fall Wreath on Window
Fall Wreath and Rae Dunn Mug

I also always love to hang a fall wreath on my big 12 pane window that I chalk painted and restored! It’s such an easy way to add a little bit of color and change for every season!

I try to change it up especially during the Fall and Winter months!

Fall Bedroom

Next up on my fall home tour is my master bedroom. I can’t leave the bedroom out from fall decor!

Just like at Christmas, I try to add seasonal touches in every single room that I can so the bedroom is no exception!

Fall Bedroom
I love to have white bedding so I can easily add pops of seasonal color by using throws and pillows!

I shared more in detail about styling a fall bedroom last year so I won’t take up too much time here.

I kept my bedding the same as last year, but just added in a few different seasonal pieces this year.

Fall Bedroom Tray
Tray styling is my jam! It’s so much fun to style seasonal trays in my opinion!

Y’all know I love my Modern Forestry candles too. And this fall they came out with some new scents too. Be sure to go check them out if you’re in need of some new candles.

I think having a fall candle burning in any room is the perfect fall home accessory! It just adds to the cozy vibe of the cooler season. You can’t beat it!

Fall Bedroom
I have to add pumpkins everywhere, even on the dresser!

Entryway Table

I can’t leave out my entryway table in my fall home tour. It’s technically in my living room, but I think it deserves it’s own spot here.

I have my dough bowl filled with pumpkins and I actually used that as a centerpiece for my Thanksgiving Tablescape last year. Although, I think it looks much better here on my entryway table!

Fall Entryway Table
I love the neutral fall vibes in this space!

I also used the pumpkins I made over in my easy fall decor refresh here. I placed them under my cloche from Antique Farmhouse and I think they look just perfect showcased there.

I also love how they are the same color scheme as everything else on the table too.

Painted Pumpkin Refresh
Here’s a close up of my cloche and pumpkins!

I originally wanted to fill my vintage crocks on the bottom of the table with pumpkins too, but due to cost I decided not to.

Maybe next year! Those crocks are huge so it would take a ton of pumpkins to fill them!

Dining Room

Attached to my living room and kitchen is my dining room, which is what is up next on my fall home tour! I also have my coffee bar here in my dining room as well.

But that deserves it’s own special section because I am obsessed with styling my coffee bar for the season!

Fall Dining Room
Here’s a full view of what my dining room looks like.

I will be sharing more in depth about my fall tablescape here soon so be sure to be on the lookout for that. I did it completely differently that how I normally do it, and I have to say I am loving the result.

I love all the vintage goodies tied together to create this look!

Fall Tablescape
Close up view of my tablescape.

Fall Themed Coffee Bar

Y’all know I always decorate my coffee bar no matter what the season is! but I would say that Fall and Christmas are my two very favorite seasons to decorate my coffee bar for.

There’s just so much potential and so many different things you can add to it. I love seeing how I change it up year after year too.

Fall Coffee Bar
The best place to start the day!

This year I was leaning more towards copper colors in my coffee bar. Whereas last year, I decked it all out in orange.

As you can see above, I still do have some orange pops of color here, but I do like to have more copper tones for a more neutral vibe.

Fall Themed Coffee Cart
Love all these coffee flavoring syrups!
Fall Tiered Tray
Close up of my tiered tray on my coffee cart.

This coffee cart area is located directly across from my coffee bar. I keep all of my flavoring syrups here (which I love!). I recently got the pumpkin spice flavored syrup and I am obsessed!

I can make me a pumpkin spice latte without having to go to Starbucks! How amazing is that?!

Fall Tiered Tray on Coffee Bar
Close up of my tiered tray on my coffee bar this year.

I also think styling my coffee bar and tiered trays for every season go hand and hand as well. I shared more in depth last year about how to style your tiered trays for fall.

Be sure to go give that post a look too if you’re stuck on how to style tiered trays. It definitely takes some practice, but once you get the hang of it, it’s so much fun!

Fall Front Porch

I always love to add real pumpkins and mums on my front porch for fall. They are so pretty and I love the rich colors they bring out.

They always look so good on my front porch steps too. I think it is the perfect welcoming entryway into our fall home this year!

Fall Front Porch

I went way more out on my decorating for my fall front porch last year, but this year I decided to keep it more simple.

Plus, it was more cost effective to do it this way. Real pumpkins from the farmer’s market are expensive y’all! See my pictures below on how I decided to decorate the front porch this year:

Other Small Fall Touches Around the Home

I just tried to add in as many fall touches as I could around my home. Even in my office space! As you can see below, I added in a few faux pumpkins on my open shelves in my office too.

It’s so simple and easy to add in a few faux pumpkins here and there around the home too. Plus, it is also an easy, inexpensive way to incorporate fall touches too!

Fall Office Shelves
Can you spot a few pumpkins here?!

Call me crazy, but I may have even put a few pumpkins on my bathroom open shelves too. I wanted my fall home tour to include as many pumpkins as possible!

And the good news is, they were all leftover pumpkins from a few years ago so I didn’t really have to purchase anything to add those cute seasonal touches to the space.

I always love it when I can save some money, but still go all out with decorations for the season!

Fall Home Tour Wrap Up

Well y’all, this concludes my fall home tour! I hope you all enjoyed it and are inspired to add in a few little seasonal pieces in your home too!

Do you go all out like I do? Or do you tend to keep it more neutral and simple?

Sometimes I crave simplicity, but most of the time (especially during the fall and Christmas season) I like to go all out! Let me know what you do below too!

Then I mentally go through my checklist about 50 times before we leave because forgetting one thing could completely change the trip.

Traveling with a chronic illness definitely takes a little more planning, but it’s worth it to make the memories. 💛

Please tell me I’m not the only one! I’m only 33, but lately I cannot sleep to save my life. Between tossing, turning, and staring at the ceiling, my Kindle and a cup of tea have basically become my nightly routine.

If you’re living with a chronic illness, tag someone who’s been there for you, or send this to the person who’s helped carry you through your hardest days. They deserve to know how much they’re appreciated.
